Your modesty compliments your character, but sometimes modesty blocks one from accreditation which he rightfully deserves. It has ALWAYS been true that breakthrough insights come to individuals and never to a committee, team, or group. It is to singular men like Einstein or John Nash that epiphanies light the sky. Nearly always, such men are insular, contemplative, and unable to conform to the strictures of social norm. Francis of Assissi, Nikola Tesla, and so many others watched their genius taken and exploited by others. I say, be bold and don’t wait for anyone to catch up with you; they never will. You are different. Don’t shy from it; enjoy it!
