The electric universe is an interesting concept that may have merit. But IMO, there is nothing to fear from the 'fluffy stuff', be it magnetic or otherwise.

Only the passage of time will tell.

OK...BEZERKERS...It's the big picture...and if you want to get what seems to be a VERY plausible scientific but understandable explanation about how the increase in galaxy particles (of what ever size) are going to interact with the sun and other planets, I would highly recommend this video from Tutu Wuwu.

I saw that post... What I thought was interesting are what look like tracks going into or out of the dark crevice.

I think this is a really unusual shot, with a lot going on, and it is applicable to this thread. The tracks remind me of the areas of the ocean bottom where underwater volcanoes form, like out in the mid-Atlantic.


The tracks are interesting and it is unfortunate you cannot zoom in on this image as the real interesting part is the dark object veryobviously coming up out of the sea floor. I don't know how to send the image so that you can enlarge it but if you would send me instructions I would be happy to redo the photo.


I brought the pic into photoshop and added more resolutions, easier to see now.

That looks almost like something sliding off into the crevise, the tracks are in line with it and it looks as though it is falling (almost like a submarine)!

I vote we some how by-pass the upcoming page of 666.

Ok, I'm going to chime in on the photo from Google.

When interpreting the sea floor as shown in Goole Earth or almost any source you must be aware of what and how much data they used to create the image of the ocean floor you see.

lLet us talk about the history of the ocean floor surveys.

The early surveys, taken before sonar, were a system of dropping a weight on a line down to the ocean floor and reading how much line had been let out (sounding). Then you move a distance and do another sounding. tThis way, you get a overall general impression of the depth. In some area, you do the soundings closer, to increase the resolution, but you are still talking about a rather gross outline of the ocean floor. Many areas recieved sounding 20, 30, 50, and in the middle of the ocean, even hundreds of miles apart. Now this is made up of not just one survey, but surveys from many different times and governments.

So, you can see that if someone made a 3D map of the ocean floor at that time, it would be pretty vauge and formless with extremely low resolution. On top of that, the mapmaker has to use artistic license to smooth the points of data together to make a surface. We are talking resolution in miles.

The advent of depth reading sonar changed all that. Further surveys in different areas were conducted over the years, with the ship able to continue on a course and take ONLLY depth readings at intervals. The resolution improved, but taking the surveys was and still is a expensive proposition, and mostly done in navigable waters near a country that could afford it, or done by geologists in search of major geological features.

So, if you can imagine, you have a realatively low res, smooth ocean floor front the early surveys with the newer surveys layed on top. That is why in many areas it looks like someone made stiches or lines of holes in the ocean floor on the map. The holes or peaks are the new data layed over the old. Only because there is no other data for the old. T


The next technological innovation was side scan sonar. This allowed a ship to see a wide area of the ocean floor underneath and to the sides of it and to make a reasonably accurate image of the floor. If the ship sails back and forth along a grid pattern, sort of like mowing your lawn, it can get a good image of the floor over a large area.


That information is now layed over the old map and you have a good resolution picture of just that area, while everywhere else is a smooth surface marred by pockmarks and stiches from different surveys.

In the picture in uestion, the upper left side of picture was imaged with side-scan sonar. You can see the track lines of the ship. The smoother areas are areas of old data that has been faired together. The rough area extending diagonally from the upper left down to the lower right is just a area that the ship happened to do a one line track with side scan sonar.

It really is nothing odd. Sorry.

from this angle the comet appears to form an x with a large chunk raceing off ahead. but if you remember that out in space any object of any size will maitain its momentum untill it meets aforce that effects it. so if for instance this was a chunk of ice hurteling through space, once it became effected by the suns solar wind it would start to break apart leaveing a trail of dust and gases(ie a comet)Now,depending on the original shape of the ice chunk or density of one section or another,this could easily account for the distension and uneven spread of gaseous tail. If for example you could view this from the front it may look nothing like a cross.Still it looks cool though.

their one mistake was publishing the Hubble photos before they had thoroughly studied the images. They where very anxious to show off Hubble's capabilities. After thorough examination with more pics (that of course have not been published) the big "oh shit" hit the fan. This is what i believe the "Boeing Guy" was referring to (timing is correct) and what i have recently been privy to. The latest post from the OP has tied it all in(for me)in regards to the GOM.......take it for what its worth...
