Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
I call it a doom thread because it doesn't contain much promise of a rosy future if the OPs posts are true. You yourself say "I hope it's a fairy tale"

I suppose that I'm trying to show how people introduce their own personal feelings about something to a thread and this can tend to add hysteria. Other's (of a similar disposition) will then jump on the band wagon and before you know it we have all the new age crap being mixed in with gut feelings, introduce a woodie, then acolyte (that ones been quiet for a while, ever since the 'kissinger coma' business) and lets not forget Dhlos with his contacts...oops, almost missed that other poster (name escapes me) with the friend of a friend that can't say too much Etc.

Really Mud, do you see anything in the latest woodie post that you would say felt 'right' with you?
 Quoting: Just AC 1109619

Ah yes as I have observed before there have been personal opinions and issues introduced from time to time. We can screen then for the most part and sometimes they bring an interesting perspective even if I do not agree with them. It comes down to us being able to sift through the information.

As to the woodie question. No. having said that does not mean that there is not something there, I just don't see it.
We have to be the change we want to see in the world

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
Sincere apologies - I thouht I was doing well, on only 1 coffee...

The book "The Lost Continent of Mu" is by James Churchward and was published in 1926.

There is a new edition brought out by David Hatcher Childress in 2007, with his forward. ISBN 978-1-931882-72-9

"Mu was an immense continent covering nearly one-half of the Pacific Ocean. When she sank during volcanic destruction, fifty million square miles of water claimed her place. This vast continent and culture was the center of civilization some 25,000 years ago. This is the story of Churchwards search for the lost continent, from the vaults of an Indian temple to the four corners of the world." to quote a reviewer..

"Mu is the name of a hypothetical continent that allegedly existed in one of Earth's oceans, but disappeared at the dawn of human history. The concept and the name were proposed by 19th century traveler and writer Augustus Le Plongeon, who claimed that several ancient civilizations, such as those of Egypt and Mesoamerica, were created by refugees from Mu - which he located in the Atlantic Ocean.

This concept was popularized and expanded by James Churchward (1851-1936), who asserted that Mu was once located in the Pacific.

The existence of Mu was disputed already in Le Plongeon's time. Today, scientists dismiss the concept of Mu (and of other lost continents like Lemuria) as physically impossible, since a continent cannot sink nor be destroyed by any conceivable catastrophe, especially not in the short period of time required by this premise.

Moreover, the weight of all archaeological, linguistic and genetic evidence is contrary to the claim that the ancient civilizations of the New and Old Worlds have a common origin. So, the very "facts" that the theory was conceived to explain are now seen to be false. Mu is today considered to be a fictional place, and books on the subject are generally found in the "New Age" or "Religion and Spirituality" sections of book-sellers.

History of the Concept

Augustus Le Plongeon

The idea of Mu first appeared in the works of Augustus Le Plongeon (1825-1908), after his investigations of the Maya ruins in Yucatan. He claimed that he had translated the ancient Mayan writings, which supposedly showed that the Maya of Yucatan were older than the later civilizations of Greece and Egypt, and additionally told the story of an even older continent. Le Plongeon actually got the name "Mu" from Charles Etienne Brasseur de Bourbourg who in 1864 mistranslated what was then called the Troano Codex using the de Landa alphabet. Brasseur believed that a word that he read as Mu referred to a land submerged by a catastrophe[citation needed]. Le Plongeon then identified this lost land with Atlantis, and turned it into a continent which had supposedly sunk into the Atlantic Ocean:

"In our journey westward across the Atlantic we shall pass in sight of that spot where once existed the pride and life of the ocean, the Land of Mu, which, at the epoch that we have been considering, had not yet been visited by the wrath of Homen, that lord of volcanic fires to whose fury it afterward fell a victim. The description of that land given to Solon by Sonchis, priest at Sais; its destruction by earthquakes, and submergence, recorded by Plato in his Timaeus, have been told and retold so many times that it is useless to encumber these pages with a repetition of it".

Le Plongeon claimed that the civilization of ancient Egypt was founded by Queen Moo, a refugee from the land's demise. Other refugees supposedly fled to Central America and became the Mayans.

Hope this helps......

These bulk rate electricity suppliers manipulate the system to the disadvantage of the rate payers. We especially watch Duke and Arkansas, which seem to swap favors.

These suppliers are regulated in the wholesale market for pricing to industry. When we see industrial demand go down, then we watch, and we'll see a cooperating supplier go into outage, or have a restricting supply event. The purpose is to keep the rates unnecessarily high when demand drops.

Their manipulation is more than just self-preservation and maintaining dividend payments because the manipulation never works in reverse to give the rate payers a break in lower prices when the supply exceeds demand.

Nothing we can do about it. The feds need to be on 'em like white on rice.

U.S. Nuclear Weapons Have Been Compromised by Unidentified Aerial Objects

WASHINGTON, Sept. 15

Ex-military men say unknown intruders have monitored and even tampered with American nuclear missiles

Group to call on U.S. Government to reveal the facts

WASHINGTON, Sept. 15 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Witness testimony from more than 120 former or retired military personnel points to an ongoing and alarming intervention by unidentified aerial objects at nuclear weapons sites, as recently as 2003. In some cases, several nuclear missiles simultaneously and inexplicably malfunctioned while a disc-shaped object silently hovered nearby. Six former U.S. Air Force officers and one former enlisted man will break their silence about these events at the National Press Club and urge the government to publicly confirm their reality.

One of them, ICBM launch officer Captain Robert Salas, was on duty during one missile disruption incident at Malmstrom Air Force Base and was ordered to never discuss it. Another participant, retired Col. Charles Halt, observed a disc-shaped object directing beams of light down into the RAF Bentwaters airbase in England and heard on the radio that they landed in the nuclear weapons storage area. Both men will provide stunning details about these events, and reveal how the U.S. military responded.

I don't care how many people say 'my gut tells me' or 'I feel it's happening' Etc ETc. it makes no difference to the reality. I too have been reading at GLP for many years, we have both seen it come and go, the ebb and flow of alternative thinking. Have WE ever seen anything materialise???

NO

Please correct me and provide examples if you disagree, will this time be any different? I don't see any reason to suggest that there's any more truth to this than any other 'story'. It's easy to fall into the trap of 'yeah, but it ties in with what insider boing boing man said'....it makes no difference who says what, these characters feed off of each other.
 Quoting: Just AC 1109619

Don't be pessimistic. We do have actions which take material effect, but "they" NEVER let us know when we win, or at least attempt to keep us from learning that we caused the change, or gained the knowledge.

When we win, laws are changed to minimize the effect, or regulations are implemented to protect position of the status quo. Thus, the games goes on.

No one who has been on the bulletin boards a while can say that they have not learned anything. Whether you take what you learn and put it to use is up to you.

Just one example: In my area, we got enough information off the 'net to take down a US Congressman from being elected as governor, and he had millions of dollars stashed in his campaign account. He and his multi-national corp-o-rat backers still don't know what happened and have started working on an end run to get him back in congress in 2012.

There has been more than one gem in this GOM thread. When the timing is right, and when it is given to us, effective action may be possible to get accountability. Only some of you will understand "when it is given to us."

Perhaps this will clear up some of the confusion. We have been assuming nano = man made. when it does not.

Nanobacteria (singular nanobacterium) is the name of a proposed class of living organisms, specifically cell-walled microorganisms with a size much smaller than the generally accepted lower limit size for life (about 200 nanometres for bacteria). Originally based on observed nano-scale structures in geological formations (including some meteorites), the status of nanobacteria is controversial, with some researchers suggesting they are a new class of living organisms[1][2] capable of incorporating radiolabeled uridine,[3] and others attributing to them a simpler, abiotic nature.[4][5] One skeptic dubbed them "the cold fusion of microbiology", in reference to a notorious episode of erroneous science.[6]

Possible explanation for massive fish death? this is from science in action BBC radio 4 from

12.08 - 26.30

[link to www.bbc.co.uk]

General gist is

There is a 'new' species of oil eating microbe that are consuming natural gases (oxygen etc) at a greater rate then the oil. The concentrations of them are extreamely high - "between one hundred thousand to million times the ambient level" microbes are growing very quickly due to the large amounts of natural gases

When asked what are the implications of this is the answer is "we don't really know"

Dr David Valentine

[link to news.yahoo.com]

The one study I read had the organisms depleting oxygen as a concern but as it turns out the bacteria was not depleting the oxygen levels in the areas where there was a heavy concentration of bacteria of the oil eating type. I don't have the link handy but I could find it. numbers were like 68 ppm in the regular sea water and 59 ppm in areas with heavy microbe activities. Not sure if it was ppm or percentages would have to find the article but those were the numbers in relation to one another. Didn;t appear according to the article to be the source of the problem. The combination of the bacteria and the normal die off of algae leading to fish kills could have accentuated the problem. Thats if you can believe the studies.lol

If only those damn bad nano-tech-bots were not there, then the organism wouldnt have been so cathaclistic or doom-related as it seems now at some levels.
 Quoting: Krispy71

And ... if the damn organism had not been dug up from the frozen ocean floor, then the nano-tech-bots would not be a problem.

We all agree, don't we, that the nano-tech was in place before the AU organism entered the scene when the sea floor was busted open to the reservoir. BP, et al KNEW that nano-tech was being researched and engineered in the GOM.

From what I can find no engineered bacteria was released in the gulf. The confusion in regards this issue seems to be the effects that corexit have had on the existing bacteria perhaps causing them to mutate. Most of the cases of skin rashes and sore have been linked to chemicals. The other possibilites involve the bio film created by the oil eating bacteria when other bacteria thrive upon such as staff. But it would appear at least for the moment that the illnesses are not caused by the oil eating bacteria. Perhaps I am missing something.

Here is one. More coming. (?)

The thing that stands out to me in regards your post is that these guys have been down to the well head. remotely. collected samples of the bacteria and brought them back to the lab. No ill effects. hmmmmmmm

Dhlos are you insinuating that this press conference is to OUT the ufo issue(a controlled leak) because the gulf mess is ufo related and the lid is coming off anyway?

i am directly pointing at facts
and connecting them with what i think i know;)

some ufo's are ours (human)
some not
the second will become visible to the masses very soon

this is not fantasy, i supplied the pic, just look at it

square clouds??????
circular imprint in rect2??????

even the untrained can see that (nvm the rest)

there is a no nuke treaty in effect
planet is too valuable alive for all factions
problem is when the bad guys (for the sake of a better phrase) realise they are fubared they will not respect the treaty
hence the security guard (in the pic)
