You guy are making me homesick with all this talk of some of my favorite foods.

Any way some news from Thailan. News in Thailand is gov. controled. They have been putting out CME info with a dates in 2012 and pictures of UFO's in the news. I guess its going viral

Wow ... can u provide a link please :)
I love to read about that !
Tnx

My wife is Thai and was watching the news the last few days and has heard me take about the afore mentioned subjects. I think she kind of thought I was nuts. So she was informing me of what she heard on the news and perhaps i was not ting tong after all. I will look for some links at some of the expat forums here in Thailand and see what I can find.

Well Krispy could not find a news link to what my wife said, however did find this its funny and interesting. enjoy

Respectfully,

nice to have you back
dont go
you have insight that is appreciated
no matter what some say
as long as you carry on being gentle
thnx

I agree!! :)

Regardless of my own thoughts, it is not polite to come into someone elses space shouting. It took some time to appreciate that this thread and probably some others take on their own ecosystem that is different than the general GLP flow.

It's because I am part moran, that I fit in so well at GLP (and the first thing I remember my mom telling me when I was a kid was that I was brought here by aliens, true story... for another day).

Must be all the EU hospitality here, Americans once insulted rarely invite someone back. :)

SO... what about those spirals Dad? cool2

I dont COOK steaks ... I FRY them very quick in a very very hot pan !!! Brown and robust on the outside and juicy and red on the inside !!!
Flavored with black-pepper-grain and other yummie spices.
Mushrooms marinated in some olive-oil and garlick and herbs on a stick grilled stick.
Bottle of soft tasting rich-flavored and a full bodied red wine to go with that.

I am half Belgium, and Hans (and Woodster) I can assure you that their beers are much much more a delicacy and heaven for your tongue then Dutch beers which taste like rainwater next to it ...lol...
Belgium is the lAND, the Walhalla of the beers.
My parrents used to have a cafee (a bar were you could eat also) with MORE THEN 30 kinds of beer to chouse from !!!!
And that was just a small pick out of the scala that is presented to bars ....
Every single type of beer with it own special and unique taste !

Krispy...when I can afford steak....LOL....(which isn't often)...I cook them exactly like you do...holy smoke...

Unrelated perhaps... I was listening to some Persian music last night and almost fell into a trance... I find it hard to believe that a nation with so much wisdom in their ancient blood would go so far into the realm of fanatism without some kind of larger vision.

My 2cents on Iran.

They welcomed Khomeini because the Shah was perceived as corrupt, in the main. After 30 years of the mullah experience, they look upon the late Shah somewhat more favourably. I know several Iranians and find them open, kind and gentle. There are fewer fanatics than is popularly espoused.

Yes these are a proud people with a culture stretching back for thousands of years. They are unfortunately trapped by a stifling regime. The frustration of the mostly younger population is palpable. Remember the regent tragic death on the street after the stolen election. Those old Mullahs can't last forever and neither can their puppets.......

In case anyone wants to know, back on page 662 there was a mention of a thread that said to enjoy the FIREWORK on Oct 22.

Oct 22 is the date of the Orionids meteor shower.

Meteor showers, due to their nature, can hide larger meteor in them that are hard to see. Now we are usually not talking large ones, usualy the size of a grain of sand up to a pebble, but a couple could get to be basketball sized.

Closer and closer.

i have many persian friends
they all live outside iran
they left iran because of the inslamification of their country
how would any of us like it if a religious figure was head of state?
most iranians are caught in the middle, between a rock and a hard place
they are an ancient race and deserve respect for that
but dont forget it was the cia that replaced the Shah and installed that first religious leader Ayatolah Homeini (spelling?) whom subsequently turned on his installers and the energy fight started
much like the the osama story (but not quite if you know what i mean;)

Irans conflicts are both religious-political and secular-political.

The Iranian lineage is from Ismael.

Ishmael - son of Abraham and Hagar the Egyptian. He was the child "born after the flesh" and not the child "by promise" and was sent from home on the birth of Isaac. His descendants, the Ishmaelites, were a wandering race, living by plunder, having commercial relations and intermarrying with the heath nations of Canaan.

I beleive it is possibly as simple as black and white - good vs. evil- Cain/Abel the knowledge of "opposition in all things = balance. Their fate and lineage.

I agree, the music is entrancing.

I am a post pirate of 4chan levels today:

MURMANSK – The No. 3 reactor block of the embattled Kola Nuclear Power Plant was shut down today by its automatic switch off in what is a seeming series of more and more incidents at the Kola, and well as other Russian NPPs. Anna Kireeva, Charles Digges, 28/09-2010 - Translated by Charles Digges

In a release on Kola NPP’s website, operators said that, “at 1:38 am on September 28, the automatic protection switch of the No. 3 reactor block shut the unit down as a result of a malfunction in one of the elements in the system responsible for pressure control in the first compartment. The reason for the malfunction is being ascertained.”

Ironically, the malfunction falls on the Russian national holiday celebrating workers of the nuclear industry, September 28. Kola NPP is located 200 kilometres south of the Kola Peninsula’s regional centre of Murmansk in Russia’s Far Northwest.

Thanks for the heads up on this AM.

This is not good and I feel for the people of that area.

"Bellona asserts that both reactors should be decommissioned at precisely the moment their engineered lifespan runs out. For reactor No. 3, that would mean 2011, and No. 4, 2012. Taking reactors out of service is a very long process demanding the formation of special funding pools aimed at the dismantlement of Kola NPP’s reactors No. 1 and No. 2 – which have already exceeded their engineered lifespan – and then No. 3 and No. 4."

Goes on to say that 85% of the people DO NOT want to live by these things.

God Bless them.

Hey Tutu-
There's a group of protesters (as you say old Hippies) carrying signs that stand about a dozen strong almost every Friday night on a quasi main street corner here in my neck of the woods -- I always honk for them! I wonder who, if anyone, would be carrying signs if not for them? Gotta give em credit, I say.

Fairlight, I disagree. The descendants of Ishmael are the Arabs, of Semitic origins just like the Jewish people (all are sons of Abraham). The Persians are Caucasians, and not of the same racial heritage at all - this is one reason they have been at odds with the Arabic countries (Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Palestinians, etc). Their original religion came from Zoroaster, and they found their own form of Islam by blending it with Zoroastrianism into an Ismailian (Shi-ite)lineage of Islam.

On the topic of algae fuel being brought to market some pages back...interesting article.

U.S. Navy Buys 20,000 Gallons Of Algae Fuel
September 17, 2010

...The U.S. Navy wants to get half of its fuel from sources other than oil, and algae makes a lot of sense for the Navy. I am well aware that turning algae into fuel is an intensive process. But I also imagine that down the road, it could streamlined to fit on a large naval vessel, which could theoretically never need to be refueled again, save for driving through an algae bloom.

...Nevermind the military implications… a fleet that never had to refuel would be a tremendous advantage, and it is something that could make its way into commercial shipping as well.

Something keeps rolling around in my mind/soul...

What would be more exceptable to a mass population?

The announcement of existence and future contact with aliens (bad, good,or otherwise) Or...

The anouncement of existence and future contact with demons? (bad, bad,or bad)?

I remain open minded, but given my years of experience on this planet, I have come to understand that there are two forces that rule the universe and beyond.

Good and Evil.

It makes more sense to me that the corrupted powers would and have tapped into this powerful force.

Can not help but think often of the verse:

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

Personally, I would be far more terrified of demons and powerful evil forces than I would of Aliens. If they can convince the world populations to accept these Aliens as possible friends and in reality, they are demons from another dimension, then we have much to be afraid of.

Did you notice how many of the retired military men and Hastings mentioned either aliens OR beings from another dimension???

Just throwing out thoughts...

...and the potato salad would def have to be German...it is the best!!! I ran a catering biz for years, even longer if you count cooking for 6 children :)

Edited for spelling

very well said in my opinion
i tend towards the idea that this is about us accepting evil as benign whilst at the same time fighting those who are actually here to help

remember

the ptb would never release the info if they were not FORCED to do so
this whole process damages tptb status quo as the guys in the press conf said themselves

now i know (dont ask cant substantiate) that they have NO CHOICE but to get there first in order to further steer public opinion about something that is imminent and real

in christian terms
gog and magog
 Quoting: dhlos 1111143

One must understand and not many do because they do not read their bibles.

The Gog and Magog war does not happen in our lifetime, but after 1000 years of reigning with Yahushua in heaven. After a 1000 years we return to earth with Yahushua with the New Jerusalem City. Please read the following:

Rev 20:4-7
4-I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Yahushua and because of the word of Yahweh. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5(The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. 6Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of Yahweh and of Yahushua and will reign with him for a thousand years.

Satan's Doom

7When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—to gather them for battle
. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. 9They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of Yahweh's people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. 10And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

The new rules impose a “significant number” of new technical requirements on drilling, he said, but they should be no surprise to the industry. They were outlined in a report issued a month after BP’s well blew out on April 20.

Scientist says more than 50% of oil still in Gulf

“The remaining fraction—over 50% of the total discharge—is a highly durable material that resists further dissipation,” oceanographer Ian MacDonald said in prepared testimony to the National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Offshore Drilling. “Much of it is now buried in marine and coastal sediments. There is scant evidence for bacterial degradation of this material prior to burial.”

The comments—the strongest contradiction yet of last month’s U.S. government estimate that the remaining oil appeared to be degrading quickly—came on a day when commissioners also repeatedly questioned responders about initial estimates...
