The Pisces, NOT the TOISA Pisces, is also conducting survey/ROV ops in the area. They have been doing a thorough survey of the area to the west of the wellhead today.

That is where most of the undersea piping is supposedly located, which could just have to do with the fact that this is also where a number of the "natural" seeps are located.

AM, tracking shows Pisces eastwardly of Gyre. I am looking at another "Pisces?"

I have watched marinetraffic at fairly regular times and have not found any research type activity over the area of the plume-reef which, as AM states, is generally the area where the most of the undersea pipe highway extends.

The interest seems to be over and between the domes. The Gyre has circled easterly of the dome today.

Also, it will be possible to remotely investigate the solar wind-surface interaction on other airless bodies, such as Mercury or the Martian moon Phobos, by imaging the energetic hydrogen atoms that are reflected back to space when the solar wind hits their surface,” he adds.

AM, can you, or any other reader, look at the terrain on marinetraffic and describe the location of the 22-mile plume reef relative to the major domes?

I have not been able to understand why there is so little apparent interest in the plume and its texture and contents. Do they think they have it figured out? Or, due to limited resources and a higher priority, time is spent over and between the domes?

Talking about the Moon...When I was working for a large aerospace company here in Washington state <guess who> I heard a few stories, one of which was that the reason USA got to the moon and then suddenly stopped was that they found they were not the first to be on the moon, in fact there appears to be a very substantial mining operation going on. Ground Control studied the situation and sent word to LEAVE...Quickly! And they never went back. I was shown 8X10 prints of something that looked a little like those cranes on top of buildings, only huge that seemed to be digging on side of crater. If I was driving a little Lunar Rover and came over a hill and saw that I would soon find out how fast that thing would go in reverse.

Interesting and sad. I remember about the phd grandmother and someone else talking about the organism in the GoM.
She was explaining about gram-negative and gram-positive.
