NEWMAN'S DEFINITION OF A GREAT MIND. -- "A truly great intellect," writes Cardinal Newman, "and one recognized to be such by the common opinion of mankind, such as the intellect of Aristotle or of St. Thomas, of Newton or of Goethe -- is one which takes a connected view of old and new, past and present, far and near, and which has an insight into the influence of all these one on another, without which there is no whole and no centre. It possesses the knowledge, not only of things but also of their mutual and true relations; knowledge not merely considered as acquirement, but as philosophy."

This is a true quote but by obtaining knowledge we can obtain Wisdom! Which is the uttmost attainable! The Keys are for all, Seek and you will find
Find and you will believe
Believe and then only will you understand!

Just because I find it doesn't mean I'm gonna believe it, Rocky. And I certainly don't require belief to get the understanding. Neither do I assume that the possession of knowledge bestows wisdom. Sorry, but your statement does not work for me.

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
Maybe this question needs it's own thread. So many ideas expressed here since OP deployed probably need their own too.

Question...if so many of us on this thread believe in positive energy, being empowered, etc, why are we so fearful of the undefined PTB? I agree there are political humans that consolidate power in govts, NGO, corporations, faith groups etc but WTH?
Has this line of thinking about things involving the subs in the Gulf made many of us into victims that need an organism or an ET to finally empower us?

Who is this "we" Kemosabe? Speak for yourself. Personally, I keep an eye on their activities in order to avoid participation...I don't want to do anything at all to support their agenda. Know your enemy, amirite?
Am I afraid of them? Not by a long shot. Am I concerned that they intentionally set out to gin up fear and hatred in the population? Of course! However, if one pays attention, one can counter these attempts in one's life/behavior, and have a beneficial influence on those around them. Actions speak louder than words. It is contagious when one lives from the heart and not from fear. I consider it my job to pay attention, listen to my intuition, and create balance by being the change I personally want to see in this world. I do not seek power or wealth. That whole system of values is crumbling before our eyes. If you don't buy into it, there is nothing of which to be afraid.

Here's an excellent idea from our forced lurker, 1221:

SO, last night I am reading two threads and it dawns on me, we are energizing their power...wrote what follows below and now I think it fits in with where the thread is today!

The That Wanna Be=TTWB

I have an idea! Let’s flex our collective power!

Let’s reduce the amount of energy we are attributing and injecting into the acronym TPTB, by removing the word “power” and interjecting the word “wanna” to disaffirm the word “be.” TPTB, The Powers That Be, then becomes TTWB, The That Wanna Be.

We can hypothesize all day and night about what will come to pass, but this, my dear BEZERKERS, is a real action that can be taken.

Does this resonate with you? If yes, then let’s BEZERK it on out there!
1221

Affirmation is a declaration that something is true. Specifically, it may refer to:
in logic, the union of the subject and predicate of a proposition

5a happydance ohyeah verycool

I really like that idea 1221, but suggest we call it THEY THAT WANNA BE instead of THE THAT WANNA BE. I do like your way of thinking though!
 Quoting: Tex Tamale

zee reply from zee author, 1221 :

Thanks! Yay, banned but not silenced!!!!!!!!

It's not proper sentence structure, but I actually DID mean THE and not they. Using "The" disbands them to a singular notion, furthering a reduction in the amount of power we give to them. Divide and conquer.

All good as far as I'm concerned :)

What, like your quote from Newman? All of my "opinions" are mine alone, and are derived from my own experience. I arrive at my conclusions through a process called critical thinking. None of these conclusions do I consider written in stone. Sure, there are some authors with whom I resonate, but my experience is what provides that resonance.
If you are implying here that certain influential men have, for their own reasons, warped the truth, then I heartily agree with you.
You are the first who has ever accused me of deception, Rocky, in my entire long life....and you are certainly entitled to your opinion. I don't feel the need to defend myself from an opinion.

More malfubctions amongst the satellites!

Govt to build backup intel satellite (N-Korea) [link to www.yomiuri.co.jp]

The government will build a backup satellite that could substitute for two new radar satellites to be constructed to keep watch on military and other facilities in North Korea, government sources said.

This nation initially had sent two intelligence-gathering satellites into orbit. However, both satellites have broken down. After sending the two satellites into orbit, the government hoped to launch two additional intelligence satellites to join the original pair, bringing the total number to four.
The plan aims to ensure the satellite network continues its monitoring mission even if other orbiting satellites malfunction. Since three satellites, including the backup, would be in full operation, the overall monitoring capability would be improved.
The government's long-standing plan is to build a network of four intelligence satellites--two with radar devices able to photograph even at night and in cloudy weather, and two optical satellites that capture images in daytime and through clear sky.
However, both the first and second radar satellites, launched in 2003 and 2007, have broken down. Since summer, the two satellites have been unable to carry out their monitoring functions at night and in other conditions. The third radar satellite is scheduled to be launched in fiscal 2011 and the fourth in fiscal 2012. Thus, the four-satellite system has faced a nine-year delay from its initial schedule.
Because radar satellites are technologically complicated and future ones might also malfunction, the government judged a backup satellite to be necessary.
It would be the first time for the government to prepare a backup satellite for intelligence purposes.

True, the French submarine did not sink, but I believe that another one did and that they were not able to pull it up out of the hole. It was pulled into the hole in the floor of the sea bed.

A bit off-topic,
but imagine what they would do with an approaching armada of alien vessels ...

Watch this vid, at the end the vid also zooms in on some regular glitches that are not unusual,
but there is a strange blue flashline there and most important that thing that is photoshopped away just behind satuns moon Dion.

It's OK for us to disagree - that's how we arrive at clarity. I have been doing my own research for my entire life. I hardly ever take somebody's word for anything, especially if they are in a position of authority. It would be great if you would speak up more, rather than use the thread to talk to PJ. One of the regulars on the thread has posted a shopped pic of the sub with a cock'nbull about a MonaLisa alien pilot.
[link to www.viewzone2.com]

Why do this?

Because there of some of us that can "see" things, but we don't always know what we are seeing. If we're fed a picture with a suggestion that it's an alien spaceship on the moon, we think, "Oh, that's the spaceship that crash landed on the backside of the moon." and then we forget about it.

New Deep-Sea Hot Springs Discovered in Atlantic: Hydrothermal Vents May Contribute More to Oceans' Thermal Budget
ScienceDaily (Oct. 9, 2010) —
[link to www.sciencedaily.com]

Scientists from the MARUM Center for Marine Environmental Sciences and the Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology in Bremen on board the German research vessel Meteor have discovered a new hydrothermal vent 500 kilometres south-west of the Azores.

snips:
The vent with chimneys as high as one meter and fluids with temperatures up to 300 degrees Celsius was found at one thousand metres water depth in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The discovery of the new deep-sea vent is remarkable because the area in which it was found has been intensively studied during previous research cruises.

The scientists saw a plume of gas bubbles in the water column at a site about 5 kilometers away from the known large vent field Menez Gwen that they were working on. ...

... the scientists have been intensively searching the water column with the multibeam echosounder. To their astonishment, they have already found at least five other sites with gas plumes. Some even lie outside the volcanically active spreading zone in areas where hydrothermal activity was previously not assumed to occur

"One of the questions that the team would like to answer is why the hydrothermal sources in this area emit so much methane -- a very potent greenhouse gas," says chief scientist Nicole Dubilier, ... "Another important focus of the research is the deep-sea mussels that live at the hydrothermal vents and host symbiotic bacteria in their gills. The mussels obtain their nutrition from these bacteria."

The gene's presence in N. profundicola suggests that it might play a role in the bacterium's ability to survive rapid and frequent temperature fluctuations in its environment.

The researchers also uncovered further adaptations to the vent environment, including genes necessary for growth and sensing environmental conditions, and a new route for nitrate assimilation related to how other bacteria use ammonia as an energy source.

These results help to explain how microbes survive near deep-sea hydrothermal vents, where conditions are thought to resemble those found on early Earth, as described in the study. Improved understanding of microbes living in these conditions may aid our understanding of how life evolved here

Off-topic ...

More and more LIFE is discovered in our own backyard-solarsystem !!!
Recently publiched today that there are bacteria and water on astroids, and water on the moon last year, and now this new article about Titan :

Haze on Saturn's Moon Titan May Hold Ingredients for Life
ScienceDaily (Oct. 8, 2010) [link to www.sciencedaily.com]

— In an experiment exploring the chemical processes that might be going on in the hazy atmosphere enshrouding Saturn's largest moon, a University of Arizona-led team of scientists discovered a variety of complex organic molecules -- including amino acids and nucleotide bases, the most important ingredients of life on Earth.
...

Titan has fascinated -- and puzzled -- scientists for a long time.
"It's is the only moon in our solar system that has a substantial atmosphere," Hörst said. "Its atmosphere stretches out much further into space than Earth's. The moon is smaller so it has less gravity pulling it back down."
"At the same time, Titan's atmosphere is more similar to ours than any other atmosphere in the solar system," Hörst said. "In fact, Titan has been called 'Earth frozen in time' because some believe this is what Earth could have looked like early in time."

The exact nature of Titan's aerosols remains a mystery. What makes them so interesting to planetary scientists is that they consist of organic molecules -- potential ingredients for life.

Why are they so surprised about the ejaculations of the mid-Atlantic ridge?? Magma, etc has been coming up there for eons! I would expect that they would actually look for thermal plumes there. Hmmmm. Justification for research funding, or just your run of the mill perception management?

EARTH PRECESSION AND MICRO BLACK HOLES
By Olaf Thomas Raabe. There is a link between a series of unexplained explosions, the Earth's precessional orbit and the inadvertent creation of micro black holes at the Large Hadron Collider in Geneva, Switzerland.

if you have not read mag article can be downloaded, $1.50, very interesting. simulations can be found here:

[link to www.youtube.com]

A simulation of orbit intersection explaining the cause of the 2004 Antarctic Explosion. It was not a meteorite. Just like all the other explosions from the OPIE evidence and the article (this one was calculated too late to be added), it was caused by a micro black hole created in the LHC. Why, after all the publicity after calculations by famous physicists, has CERN not released anything about even a single micro black hole? Because they have all disappeared, due to time transfer.
They just don't understand that yet, because they still believe in Big Bang Theory,
which is as wrong as the Flat Earth or the Earth at the Centre of the Universe...

Hello Ladies. See what you make of this perspective on 10/13. Some interesting connections.

I have seen Freeman stuff before...I like this quote from one of the pages

What will you do when you know this is truth? Violent revolutionary acts will only further their goals. We cannot attack this beast. What "they" want is for you to react to their stage play. What if we don't react? There is no returning to what was in the past. We must dream a new dream. We have embarked on a dangerous mission. If you accept that you have come here to experience the creation of a new paradigm, and have it in your heart to remain compassionate, even when it appears the world is being destroyed around you, we will bring about a New World Order of our choosing. Can you believe that?

This is a little love note to all the posters on this thread pushing the alien invasion scenario.

In the US, we don't get it.

Either we don't believe, or if we do, we're too medicated by big pharma, or too stoned to care.

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
The earth is in dire need of re teraforming as stated by another poster,These off world visitors are not here to help but remove a certain type, whether blood type or those of the love we were supposed to give to all, The 13th is not far away and those in power will do anything for this event not to happen, Japan has been given the last breifcase to be opened two days later in the event the evil factions infiltrate Chinaand others, What has been set in motion is going to happen but the drawback is TPTB will take all it can down (kill) as possible, Beware of false deceptions much time left, Some one that is good at research, Go to the crop circles maybe even two years ago and the circle says exactly that.We couldn't understand then but the time is at hand. Alot of warnings given and somebody knows how to decipher these codes, You can bet the gov. has a large think tank working on these codes, But there is love in some that will tell, keep a sharp ear on this post and others you frequent and the truth will surface. Time is short. There are so many inteligent people on this thread even A/Cs we need your help.
