The report last January said "Silver" but nothing since. I don't think you will see this deposit mined. It is preserved for this purpose that they are now using it. As such it is part of something much greater, hence the military connotation. If we were just talking about a silver deposit it would

not have been divulged to scientists and universities per se. This is more than just a deposit of silver.

It indeed can be made in a furnace. The Essenes were thought to do this. A furnace was the centre of their complex it was found.Biblical reference, "The Bread of the Presence". In Egypt "the golden tear from the eye of Horus".

At 450 degrees elemental gold will resonance disconnect from itself, become a gas and be recondensed as a white powder. Repeating the process produces very high purity.

At 1,160 deg F the white powder ecan be melted to a transparent glass, said to be still in some very old
Cathedral windows. Yet it is still Pure Gold.
