I was just checking out Nesux's Briefcase thread and someone mentioned what China hopes to gain:

What came to mind is that old testament story about the birthright getting stolen. (Correct me if I'm wrong, been a long time ago since I read it) I think it was Abraham's sons, Issac and Jacob. One child was from a maid servant, Hathor, and the other child from Sarah, his wife. One son was hairy, and the other sparse. Hathor's son worked all day and was hungry, and Sarah's son wheedled his birthright from him for his meal. (Sarah helped, they used the lamb hide as a covering on Sarah's son's arms to get Abraham's blessing, he was old and had poor sight) Anyway, the elder son of Hathor lost his blessing and his inheritance.
Sarah had both Hathor and son sent far away. So, perhaps it comes down to a slight of inheritance from way back when.

my suspicion is that one major technique of TPTB is the magician's practice of misdirection.

I think the plan has been for some time to shift base of operations to China and Japan where related bloodlines are in control.
japanese royal family is alleged -by Japanese scholars- to be Scythian in origink, and China was/is ruled by dynasties of Drgaon Emperors.
All claiming descent from steppe nomads of a mix of Mongol,Turkic and Indo European ethnos.
