Treasury Draws Negative Yield for First Time [ link to www.bloomberg.com] now this is news people A couple weeks ago, I tried explaining to a neighbor with substantial cash investments, that treasury notes were going negative. He said "You're crazy, it doesn't work that way." But then, I've explained some of the problems in the Gulf to people and they tell me I must be wrong because they hear on the news that everything is OK. I'm feeling like P-gregg and looking at how to get out, even though I live 1,000 miles from the Gulf. I hear ya loud and clear. I'm having the same experience with my friends and relatives in the Gulf. Had the same incredulous response a couple of years ago when I was urging close friends to sell extraneous property before the RE bubble burst. Sooooo frustrating, isn't it! People will believe anything they see on the boob tube...if it ain't there, it doesn't exist. Pitiful, really.
