IMO with each passing day the chances that your OP is genuine diminish. I will apologise if I am wrong, but may have other more important things to attend to.
Have you ever noticed (and this is most obvious with the planet X fraternity) if you don't believe then you will become a victim, if you do believe then you are somehow protected from the great harm that is to beset Earth. The same applies to religion, all religion. If you are for instance a christian, you will be saved, non-believers will be hurled into the pit of hell and damnation. What will posters here actually do if this were to be a real case scenario? Would an early warning help? What if OP came back and spilled all his beans? Sounds to me like many have families and relocation is not an option. Where would you relocate to? Where will be safe? Who will you tell? Will you try to get it out to the media or keep it to close friends? How much will you store? Will you pack your job in? Will you actually believe the OP without actual hard proof? Hide under the covers and hope no one farts?

No "hard proof" is required for decisions, imo. Life is flying by-the-seat-of-your-pants for most of us.
OP does not have to return for the thread to remain relevant to me. I'm looking for information and ideas about the situation in the Gulf. I could care less about the hoopla over UFOs and ETs. I have enough first-hand evidence that the Gulf is seriously ill and that we cannot go in the water.
We all know that other countries have concerns because so many have offered assistance.
OP has indicated an uncontrolled problem with an ancient organism which has been nano-modified. That is believable.
We know that the US government is lying to us, because the actual oil spill happened before the media date of the rig blowout on April 20th.
What I want:
Verifiable reports of the testing and research on the water;
Recommendations on safety procedures;
Arrest and prosecution of corporate officials responsible for this mess, including US agency heads who should have limited BP, et al to adequately regulated access of territorial waters;
Possession of sufficient corporate assets to off-set the economic disaster and medical expenses.
It is looking more and more as if there is going to be total economic disaster and distress in the Southeastern states of the US due to the situation in the Gulf.
I live here and have extended family in these states and I'll continue to work to keep this thread going as a source point for any kind of information helpful in the decision process about what to do.
At this moment, my greatest concern is for the quality of our underground water supply. We can have food shipped in if Corexit rain kills our crops. I do not know where we will get adequate potable water if we cannot source it ourselves.
In the meantime, I'm looking for living alternatives to help guide my family. Refugee status as a choice is not particularly appealing.
