A huge magnetic anomaly was discovered covering the entire Southeast portion of the shore of the Lake.

1/3 down the page, the picture does look the same as the white flightly things we've seen on the BP feeds.

May very well be the Augie/organism. Also, explains Russia's ability to cope by using the calibrators.
