Currents steering sea nettles our way, Sarasota Herald Tribune, October 20, 2010:

In Sarasota Bay and some waters offshore, sea nettles are causing pain.

Driven by ocean currents, the jellyfish with the long stinging tentacles have been spotted from Fort Myers to St. Petersburg Beach. …

But in an interesting abnormality, sea nettles were practically absent this summer in the northern Gulf of Mexico, where they are a near yearly nuisance for beachgoers.

Fred Bartlit, the lead investigator for the Oil Spill Commission, today said he's seen no evidence that the BP oil disaster was caused by sacrificing safety for cost.

"To date we have not seen a single instance where a human being made a conscious decision to favor dollars over safety," Bartlit said at a hearing today. "A lot has been said about this, but we have not found a situation where we can say a man had a choice between safety and dollars and put his money on dollars. If anybody has anything else to say about that, we're happy to hear it."

One more thing, and I'll stop my raggin'. Back on that string of posts I made on the former page, is a site called Talking Points Memo. I just read there that the new Republican Chairman of the Energy Committee is a Texan named Joe Barton. I watched ole Joe, when Tony Hayward was getting hauled over the coals by Ed Markey (CSPAN) actually apologize to Tony for the $20 billion clean-up fund - called it a shakedown. Once January rolls around, all pressure will be off Big Oil. If we are gonna effectively sqawk, we have to get on it hard and fast, peeps!

Since we know that microbes ingest oil, and now plankton apparently do too, one must ask–how long until we start finding Deepwater Horizon hydrocarbons in our secondary and tertiary consumers??

It' one of those, certainly within the realm of possibility, if it goes how he thinks and the contents are as fear based as indicated this will cause a lot of damage. Two things I can comment on, One: forewarned is for armed, knowledge protects in that if you are expecting it you will have at least some protection from the shock factor. Two: Not long to wait.

wonder what would happen if you turned off all tv's all cell phones, etc..anything that would conduct and I too thought of a tinfoil hat...over your ears?..or ear plugs?...or is this a strictly mental thing...and I too, thought about all the top people being out of the country...kinda convenient, no?...guess we'll see, won't we?..he said 8/9 pm...but I didn't see which time zone that was...if it's eastern that's 5/6 for me..

we, imo, are electrical and magnetic impulses...probably no way to combat something like this..except through mental strength...oh...and comcast most certainly does have cell phone service..some on the thread doubted that...but it's true...

Yes he said Eastern time between 8.00 and 9.00pm on the 10th which is Wednesday.I am in Central Standard Time in Nebraska.The time just changed yesterday.Would that make a difference?Breezy please let me know if I am correct?Do you know if it woud help to be holding black tourmaline or something of the sort?Would any tyoe of jewellery lessen the supposed effect?What about bathing in Dead Sea Salts?Tele ision, computer etc off or on?........
