Did oil mining cause Haiti's earthquake? The connection between oil production and earthquakes dates back to at least the 1920s, when geologists in South Texas noted faulting near the Goose Creek oil field.

[link to open.salon.com]

The above article got me to thinking. Considering the size of the field in the GoM I suspect that this situation is only on hold. Greed will have them back at it as soon as possible if not already. It is a frail region geologically and from what I understand the area of the reservoir extends from under southern USA to Ecuador, it contains massive methane pockets estimated to be at 100,000 psi as its pressurised by volcanic activity.

So they keep sticking holes in it and hope nothing happens. Good plan. I could see an event triggered there allowing the great lakes to empty into the GoM which would perhaps flush out the "spilled" oil. :-Mud

It must be a conspiracy to be rid of the entire eastern US.

This is what they are doing to my back yard:
[link to www.rigzone.com]

This explains more in detail just what they do:
[link to geology.com]

I use to think we might end up being lake front property, but it looks like we'll end up in the GOM too when the earth gives away and the Great Lakes flood through.

edit to say, it makes sense to me... and bold what I replied to.

Makes sense to me to. I see they are using economic pressure to get the rights to drill. Interestingly they claim no ill effects or contaminations. That flies in the face of quite a few other articles I have read.

I guess some think you can just keep on abusing a system and everything will be ok cause its not their problem. I hear of earthquakes in unusual places these days there. Signs of the times. :-Mud

I've been trying to find evidence of Naval platforms similar to this.

What I have found is that the USN has a whole Space Command and other departments soley dedicated to space. Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
Could the USNavy have a version of the X37? (or similar craft)

This is purely a NASA/USAF craft?

If USN had a version capable of being launched from ship, it would explain a few things.
They can deny/confirm a missile launch, as it is, but it isn't, they can say/deny it was a plane,
as it is both (space plane)and no one is telling fibs.

Also, explains where it went. i.e. is in orbit.

If this is a viable spaceplane, with re-launch capability, then it could be launched from anywhere on the World's oceans.

Anyone could be ferried to a launch pad and launched in to space to say..... the ISS, anonymously.

A viable, small, spaceplane could also be used to 'adjust' sattelites, some belonging to other nations.

If indeed a USN coup is underway, this would be a massive demonstration to other factions in the power structure.

USN intelligence are heavy hitters in the game. The fact that they are almost never mentioned is testament to that.

PS - thanks for the WB's! hf hf

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
New and important evidence found in the sophisticated “Stuxnet” malware targeting industrial control systems provides strong hints that the code was designed to sabotage nuclear plants, and that it employs a subtle sabotage strategy that involves briefly speeding up and slowing down physical machinery at a plant over a span of weeks.

“It indicates that [Stuxnet's creators] wanted to get on the system and not be discovered and stay there for a long time and change the process subtly, but not break it,” says Liam O Murchu, researcher with Symantec Security Response, which published the new information in an updated paper (.pdf) on Friday.

The Stuxnet worm was discovered in June in Iran, and has infected more than 100,000 computer systems worldwide. At first blush it appeared to be a standard, if unusually sophisticated, Windows virus designed to steal data, but experts quickly determined it contained targeted code designed to attack Siemens Simatic WinCC SCADA systems. SCADA systems, short for “supervisory control and data acquisition,” are control systems that manage pipelines, nuclear plants, and various utility and manufacturing equipment.

Researchers determined that Stuxnet was designed to intercept commands sent from the SCADA system to control a certain function at a facility, but until Symantec’s latest research it was not known what function was being targeted for sabotage. Symantec still has not determined what specific facility or type of facility Stuxnet targeted, but the new information lends weight to speculation that Stuxnet was targeting the Bushehr or Natanz nuclear facilities in Iran as a means to sabotage Iran’s nascent nuclear program.

According to Symantec, Stuxnet targets specific frequency converter drives — power supplies that are used to control the speed of a device, such as a motor. The malware intercepts commands sent to the drives from the Siemens SCADA software, and replaces them with malicious commands to control the speed of a device, varying it wildly, but intermittently.

The malware, however, doesn’t just sabotage any frequency converter. It inventories a plant’s network and only springs to life if the plant has at least 33 frequency converter drives made by Fararo Paya in Teheran, Iran, or by the Finland-based Vacon.

Even more specifically, Stuxnet targets only frequency drives from these two companies that are running at high speeds – between 807Hz and 1210Hz. Such high speeds are used only for select applications. Symantec is careful not to say definitively that Stuxnet was targeting a nuclear facility, but notes that “frequency converter drives that output over 600Hz are regulated for export in the United States by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission as they can be used for uranium enrichment.”

Knights of Seth, wiki : [link to en.wikipedia.org]

Seth killed Osiris:
Egypt: Set (Seth), God of Storms, Slayer of Apep, Equal to and ... -
Set (Seth, Setekh, Sut, Sutekh, Suty) was one of ancient Egypt's earliest gods, a god of chaos, confusion, storms, wind, the desert and foreign lands. ...
www.touregypt.net/featurestories/set.htm - In cache

Set poked out Horus's left eye so Horus (son of isis and osiris) cut off Set's testicles, making him sometimes known as the god of infertility.
... According to the Shabaka Stone, Geb divided Egypt into two halves, giving Upper Egypt (the desert south) to Set and Lower Egypt (the region of the delta in the north) to Horus, in order to end their feud. (> the 12 and 10 tribes)
... The followers of Horus thus denigrated Set as chaotic and evil. ... Set, who had traditionally been the god of foreigners, thus also became associated with foreign oppressors ... The Greeks later linked Set with Typhon because both were evil forces, storm deities, and sons of the Earth that attacked the main gods.

...He was also believed to have white skin and red hair, with the Egyptians comparing his hair to the pelt of a donkey. Due to his association with red red animals and even people with red hair were thought to be his followers. These animals were sometimes sacrificed, while the link between Set and red-heads - usually foreigners - gave him godhood over foreign lands. With the relationship to foreign peoples, Set was also a god of overseas trade of oils, wood and metals from over the sea and through desert routes. He was given lordship over western Asia because of this.
As Set was a god of the desert and probably symbolized the destructive heat of the afternoon sun, and thus was thought to be infertile. The hieroglyph for Set was used in words such as 'turmoil', 'confusion', 'illness', 'storm' and 'rage'. Strange events such as eclipses, thunderstorms and earthquakes were all attributed to him. Horus has seized Set,
Pyramid text : he has put him beneath you so that he can lift you up. He will groan beneath you as an earthquake... --

... In the tale of Osiris, Set was the third of the five children of Nut, thought to have been born in the Nubt (Naqada) area. Instead of being born in the normal manner, as his siblings were born, he tore himself violently from his mother's womb.

Egyptian text: You whom the pregnant goddess brought forth when you clove the night in twain -
You are invested with the form of Set, who broke out in violence.

Yet Set was thought to be a follower of Ra. It was he who defended the Solar Barque each night as it traveled through the underworld, the only Egyptian deity who could kill the serpent Apep - Ra's most dangerous enemy - each night as it threatened to swallow the Barque.

If I do I will NOT fly economy class. Potential employer, actually former employer offering me position, paid my way over Business Class.Fourteen hours on Lufthansa with layovers, I paid my own way back (I did not take the job) went Economy Class. Never again. Nineteen hours. They fold you up like fitting a doll in a box, then you sit there uncomfortable...forever. I dressed in the "Company Uniform" Black suit, white shirt, you know, a Penguin. Crutches did not fit in but most of these guys are avid skiers so they understand legs in cast. I am having too much fun working for myself. I do not wish to go back to pounding on the Autobahn from Bavaria to Holland and hearing suppliers snivel.

Something I have heard multiple times so I will make it public here: Netherlands (Holland) was neutral in WWII. Got that? NON-COMBATANT. This was not their fight. Hitler invaded Holland and did many awful things to peaceful Dutch people. In balance, Dutch Underground sabotaged everything they saw with a swazi on it. This is not generally taught in German schools. In my opinion, this is a point of German national shame. /editorial

We're checking back and looking for crumbs of information to help us through the catastrosphe of the death of our Gulf, a main economic source, food source, and source of pleasure and recreation.

I haven't given up.

Ever see the widely publicized cartoon drawing of a sea bird attempting to swallow a frog for supper, and the frog has the sea bird's neck in a death grip? The title is:

"Don't ever give up!"

That cartoon fairly describes our situation here. Peronally, I'm not letting go.

I worked for a large German company. Many times when I would deal with suppliers in Holland, I would hear these stories. Sometimes they would appear to be quite angry at Germans (Hans) One story I heard a lot was when Hitler got short on gas for German people, he decided to furnish German people with bicycles so German troops came to bordering town of Eindhoven, rounded up every bicycle in the town, loaded them on trucks and took all the bikes to Germany. After the Peace they were not returned. When I was told this story in a light bulb factory, not one person in the room was born before 1948, long after the war. Old wrongs die hard.

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine

I was a toddler in the US when those bikes were picked up.

Every US Americann male of age, who was not farming, was in uniform, shipped out. There were very few daddies at home, and many mothers were working in the factories. My "Daddy Bill" was a framed picture until after 1945 because he was in North Africa, Italy, Belguim and France. Perhaps Patton and his Third Army never marched into Holland because they were "non-combatants." I do not know.

Anyway, 60+ years later the Brits and the Dutch and Noreigans are off the shores of the US, deliberately, through a combination of intent and stupidity, destroying us and our country.

If the Dutch people remember what the Germans did, through handed-down stories, you'd think there would be at least a couple of handed-down stories about the every-day, regular GI Joe who was shipped away from his country and family to help settle and defend against the nazi attempt to disenfranhise the average person in Europe.

The US in the Pacific theatre was self-defense.
