OFF TOPIC ALERTBefore the holidays I was contacted by a Producer for a show called "I'm Lucky to be Alive" I told them I wanted a few days before I gave them an answer. I have not been able to find squat about it. Does anybody know anything about this show? I gather they are on cable somewhere. I do not want to let myself into a "America's Funniest Videos" type of thing. Thank you google turned up with some 10 pages of links, also there seemed to be this topic also on History Channel. Perhaps you should find out who is doing the production before committing. [ link to www.google.com] YES! Definitely If it is a show where the theme is "Stupid Hurts" (well it does,) but I don't want the whole world knowing how bad I screwed up. Thanks for the link. I am making a list of questions for them when they call back. Apparently they have done some research. They knew I "died" twice before EMT's got me onto stretcher and winched up into chopper. Quoting: Hans The MagnificentHans Baby, it's not a bad show, and goes in to quite gory detail. I watched one about a guy who had a boulder fall on his foot whilst walking along an old stream bed, only to find that a flood was approaching and the stream was filling up. His mate ran off for help. Another about a guy who crashed his plane in S-Africa and was pretty bashed up, in the middle of no-where, only to find a pack of lions stalking him. So your efforts would be in good company. They will no doubt pay you? Perhaps you could get your original bike manufacturer in on it too as advertising and get a new bike in the deal? No cashy, no taxy. I am already feeling the scowls from certain members regards you getting another bike... just a thought buddy!
