Unprecedented weather patterns. QLD Premier Anna Bligh mentions reconstrucion effors of "Post War Proportions".
Another message hidden in plain sight?

Hope you are staying dry, O! Are you suggesting that QLD is the victim of weather wars? I will never understand why folks build in flood plains...folks in the US do it too, but insurance companies discourage it. It's even illegal in some places. That said, my prayers are with OZ and all those threatened by high waters. Steer clear of the crocs, peeps!
too_sad

Hi Tutu...we have lots of flood plains around where I am...in fact our main freeway n/s has been known to flood clear to the underneath of the overpasses for miles at a stretch about 30 miles from here...which has to be at least 15/20 feet, right...??

Then one time I was told this by an insurance person...anyplace it rains, it can flood...which to me was a sobering thought...because I am up high, and never gave one consideration to it.... but from what I understand, this whole area used to be a riverbed...(and we have the rocks to prove it too)breezy

And... I don't know whether you know but the wall of water that ploughed through Queensland was the size of Texas in its breath... Biggest water deluge since the 1800s. Everything received such a soaking that even the higher places got so waterlogged they are dealing with land slippage and road blocks. Now that water is heading for Victoria and is predicted to be down there in 6-8 weeks. In the meantime they are getting kicked by more downpours and violent storms. Everyone is being affected whether on high or low ground... 1/3 of the third largest city in Australia went under water... The CBD went under water. This is MASSIVE... bigger devastation than Katrina some have reported.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1228325

Best get prepared, even in Ohio we felt the tail ends of destruction from both Katrina and Ike. Wind damage, loss of electricity, water boil alerts... Wonder if people are placing blame yet... global warning ah I mean warming... the superstition of sign of the meteorite... the Gulf Stream shut down... or other? Are supplies being shipped in? Are there safe areas for people to go for food/water/basic needs? Is the emergency system working to assist the little people in need? I hope other countries like ours are sending in help too. Watching with a wrench in my stomach over the devastation and loss, hoping it will abate soon.

Best to be prepared for no outside help in case of a major disaster. Currently in Seattle there is a list going around of supplies you should have on hand in case something happens. For some reason there seems to be a lot of interest in stocking up on ammunition (not on the list). Unless they figure on getting their own food, I hope they are not thinking of anything else. How tough is Caribou meat?

For those of you who remember some discussions a while back that the revealing of the 13th zodiac sign into the mainstream would be a sign of the coming new age:

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
 Quoting: Hans The Magnificent

Depends on how old is the Caribou.

In Southeast USA, we've always talked that if times got tough we knew that deer would be killed off early by hunters. We would then have fish, wild ducks, frogs, squirrels and other small game. Not, we're not so sure.

this is page 4 of the thread .... check the last photo near the bottom of the page, and the comments ....

you can see where NASA has 'airbrushed' it out ...

then check the 1st pics in the beginning of that thread to see the 'unedited' pics before NASA had a chance to use photoshop or whatever photo editing package they use

from what I understand, the OP of this thread 'captured' the 1st pics before NASA airbrushed the planet (or whatever it is)

Return to profit
BP had a terrible 2010 with the Gulf of Mexico spill, which is going to cost them at least $40bn.

But in November BP announced it was back in profit in the three months to September after last quarter' s record loss.

The firm said its replacement cost profit for the period was $1.85bn (£1.15bn), as against the $17bn loss recorded from April to June.

The previous loss reflected the massive costs of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill crisis.

The clean up and 'fine' (cough, cough) cost them profit for one quarter...... yet the Gulf will pay the cost for decades to come.

Now the Arctic is next in the cross hairs.

Amazing, that just by coincidence, the north west passage has been openned for shipping. That will make transport and distribution so much easier.

I commented earlier about Dim's link that for several years we've 'seen the light' near Venus in the west southwestern sky and have discussed that light on many threads, only to have debunkers and nay-sayers come back and tell us that it is Venus.

Now, here on the Gulf oil spill thread, we have the subject again, but this time NASA ... oops forgot to airbrush 'til later, or whateverm, and you don't see the light, just a dark spot ... and then, oh look ... they make the dark spot just disappear!

How many of you believe anything purported to be from a US g'ment agency? Too many chemtrails and I haven't seen this light for a while. The point is this, what is NASA covering up with the dark spot?

Now, back to the Gulf oil spill.

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
Weather Warfare?

Are the current floods and disasters in Australia, Brazil and Sri Lanka part of the ‘war’ between the USA and China?

Since (from the Briefcase thread) China has told the USA that ANY action against it will result in catastrophic retaliation (Yellowstone and the reverse EMP devices), has the USA moved to take indirect action against China?

Using the old test – ‘Quo Bono’ (who wins), we need to look at the recent disasters that could have been influenced by various human agencies like HAARP. OK, we do have a very strong natural El Nino at present which will cause some more storms and rain in these areas, so this could become a perfect opportunity to add a disastrous ‘boost’ that is not blatantly obvious.

The recent storms on Australia’s north-east coast have caused a massive (under reported) amount of damage to the area’s coal mines and railways – which mainly supply – guess who? China! The rail lines have been washed away and the mines flooded. Even the local power stations have had to close because of lack of coal.

Now we are hearing about massive flooding in Brazil and Sri Lanka. We know that Brazil also supplies China with a lot of minerals, and the Chinese are building a naval base in Sri Lanka, so what are the effects of these floods?

Other areas like the North West of Australia that also has massive Iron Ore mines and large natural gas exports have not been ‘looked at’ by the weather, most likely since about half of the exports go to Japan, and mines and gas use common rail lines and port facilities.

Hmmmm…. Bezerkers, is this just another Bezerk thought???

Proxy war in Sri Lanka for years now b/w China and US including the big t. So yes, you are on the right track.
