Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine

The TeaPot Dome oil scandal of the 1920's one of the things I study in my Citizenship class. The american system of checks and balances is supposed to prevent such a thing from ever happening again.

The article at the link is about one of the eight presidents in the US with Black ancestry.

ANY RH- blood is valuable stuff, and always in short supply.
The anti-D injetion/infusions given to patients having operations or babies means that new tissue is not rejected, or in the case of a baby, the 'next' baby is not rejected. You cant mix blood/organs in RH- peeps. Very specific.

Most of the World's anti-D supply comes from the US, and unfortunately runs a high risk of being infected, which is really unfair to any RH- people in a bad situation. You must sign a waver before accepting, understanding your high risk.

Please recall that Norway has a huge CO2 sequestration project under the North Sea. The US also has a large carbon dioxide sequestration test site at the Teapot Dome.

Who do YOU trust? If these huge CO2 reservoirs blow, there is no oxygen in the atmosphere for miles around.

AC1231136 - I looked at it - hell yeah - and was so absorbed it made me late for work. I tried to do a follow-up on the oil aspect of it, but didn't have time.
That whole site is fascinating, and appropriate in the run-up to MLK day. I thank you for the post. Did you find anything else on the oil thingybingy? I can't really devote any time to it until maybe Wednesday, but I'm hooked, and intend to follow up.

This just shows ya how effin' stoopid our gov't is - they could be making bank by selling this CO2 to indoor pot growers in California. What idiots!Diggin' for gold in all the wrong places!

I got a letter in the mail yesterday. I passed a test that was very important to me and is something I have waited for most of my life. It looks like I will be absent from here for a few days in February while I attend (and take part in) a little ceremony. wish I could invite all of you to this gathering. I consider Bezerkers my "American Family" although you guys are spread all over the world. Just like Germans and German-Americans. More about this as we get closer to the last week in February. Another salt dome issue is in the news down at the Gulf where there has been a proposal to use the Richton Sale Dome to store 160 million barrels of oil to bring the nation's oil reserves to one billion barrels.

"The storage space would have been hollowed out of the salt dome using 50 million gallons of water taken daily out of the Pascagoula River for five years. The fresh water would have dissolved salt inside the dome, using a technique called solution mining."

We read here that China expects to have 20 million electric vehicle parking spaces by 2020.

For short trips and in town, electric vehicles should conserve a lot of oil, and save air quality from CO2 emissions.

About 35 years ago, when Lenox Square built a major expansion of the center developing additional levels, they put in a large bank of EV outlets on the lower parking level with several rows of parking reserved for electric vehicles. No one was driving electric cars. I asked about the parking for the electric cars and was told that electric cars were on the drawing board for mass production and we would see a lot of them within five years.

It never happened. The bank of outlets for electric vehicles at Lenox Square have long since been gone.

Now, years later, China is going to do what we never did.

There is a lady sitting on the other side of the bed here who just commented that this is what has been done to much of the state of Nevada where she is from. A hundred+ years of mine tailings has poisoned much of the aquifer there. And what was not poisoned by mine tailings has had jet fuel dumped into the ground. We drove around looking at property and everywhere you go you see water wells being dug deeper to get below the poisoned part of the aquifer. She is part Native American and that side of her family lived there for thousands of years. Between the mines and Thiokol the state has been ruined within the last generation.

Thanks COL, so glad you are still on top of the issues in the GOM. Due to illness I have been only a lurker lately, not active, and I love it when I see reports like this. Still hoping something good will happen for the people there someday soon.
