I heard some "refugees" who, on the wanna be ste, said they were not coming back if glp resumed may be banned. This site is so much better I can't imagine why anyone would want to stay with the imposters.

yea, but if you get banned for stupid reasons then this site sucks .... Bear in mind that if there is important news, it will be on all the conspiracy forums, not just this one

what has transpired over the past few days is that many have found alternative sites, bookmarked them, lurk there and will be the wiser by getting alternative views

the bans here are a joke .... go to work, log in anonomously and you still have full access to this site ....

or get a broadband dongle for £15 a month (unlimited download) ... plug it into your laptop and you have access here ....

so no big deal at the end of the day .... you can still access/read/and post anonomously?

Yes, the bans, are part of the culture - carefully developed here.

Peeps read so much in to them. In fact peeps read so much in to everything here. Not that I am an unobservant person, quite the contrary, but a ban or a star and its a conspiracy!!! Its an attack on ME!

As always, gold stars are for paid members. Trinity has offered one free months subscription for paid members (gold star) and one free mon ths 'upgrade' to many member features for ACs, which to differentiate, is a silver star.

If this is true and that's a big if then it is safe to say that the russians are checking things out and the rest are hunting the two unknowns. The unknowns could be N. Nexus has been trying for days to get in and being unbanned is being denied for some "posting spam" reason...yes, I would NOT lie about such a thing and you notice I DID use quotation marks...it IS straight from Nexus' mouth...

Seems more likely to be an ISP issue Breez. Plus the 'bots' may be on higher alert than usual regards links, given the attacks over the last few weeks.

DrPostman (mod - or is it DaPostman?) is also on the ban list.

I'm gonna start an 'unban Nex' thread. Anyone who wishes to post their wishes, please post there. Maybe it will speed up the unbad if ISP based.

Nex has, after all brought much paid members to this site.
It would be in Trinity's interests, I would think to unban him.

Not wishing to add to any speculation, so I am assuming that this simply means that Trin' is, indeed looking in to it, and sees no need for a thread to sway it.

He is banned, and the ban seems to be permanent.

He said that he will not be coming back.

Ok, after much pleading with Trinity, I have been unbanned.

I want to thank Breezy and Housedad for making the posts I requested.

For the record though, this is what happened - and there are many others in this situation:

- I visited GLP over the weekend, saw it was down, with cryptic messages saying it was shut etc etc.

- so I googled other sites where chat might reveal what happened and why

- I found a couple of other websites discussing GLP being down, various reasons.

- I was banned for visiting those sites, and for making a comment or two at them. Ironically, the only comments I made at those sites, was to defend GLP, not criticise.

- I inquired as to why I was banned, and eventually was told that it was because I visited 'hater' sites. I was refunded my GLP membership of $20- so I assumed it was over for me at GLP. I asked Breezy and House to post on my behalf what was happening.

- Meanwhile I figured I had nothing to lose by emailing Trinity and putting my case. It worked for me, but I can assure you that there are several mods, and hundreds of very upset members of GLP who were banned for the crime of visiting another (hater) site in order to find out why GLP was down over the weekend.

I think it is very unfair and that it sucks big time, but I know if I go on about it, that I will be banned once again.
Thus, I have removed all posts on the Briefcase thread discussing my banning by GLP in the hope that I don't antagonise Trinity any further.
