They have completely destroyed the acquifer there with rocket fuel seeping into the ground. I was going to buy 40 acres and put a horse ranch on it. Less stress than what I'm doing now. Then I noticed water well drilling all over. Asked a few questions and it turns out the rocket fuel floats on top of the water so they have to drill well deeper to get below that crap. Between the water and the nuclear testing some 50 years ago, the state is becoming uninhabitable. On a dark night you can see some of the distant hills actually glow in the dark. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. I'll suggest it to others as well, because the big companies have recently put their hooks into Ohio and folks need to understand what results from this type of mining resources. Hope your feeling better. I have no idea if they engage in this in colorado, (I live north suburban area, but I get the damdest tasting water here, very chemical at times, not chlorine etc and sometime I swear it smells llike it has petroleum of some sort in the stuff. Hi NiP. Sounds like alne from the movie. The natural gas and the chemicals used to frack the areas are seeping in to ground water aquafers. Next time it smells/tastes funny. Pour a big amount in to a jar with a lid. Shake it up good. Have a lighter handy. Lift the lid, and see if it lights up. |

Hey Snookums, don't go getting your bloomers in a big ole wad, ferchrissake. We ('Merkinz) whupped up a protest and stopped the fracking in Arkansas that was the cause of those EQs there. We got up on our hind legs and squawked real loud at Exxon, and now their ad boy isn't smirking, flashing his dimples about their crimes - he's now somber about their sincerity - not that that means anything real, but, hey - I no longer want to smash my screen just to rearrange his face. 90% of all natural gas mining in the US is done by the frack. This is going on in Colorado and all over the place, but, thankfully, 'Merkinz are on to it, and are raging on the oil/gas peeps. This is just another of many crimes against humanity and Gaia that we all have to protest in the most vehement way. It's a constant battle. Suit up your armor and grab your weapons - we are in for the long haul and we ALL have to pay really close attention. tutu out. |

Even subtle ones. When the fracking fluids combine with natural drinking water sources, the law suits will come thick and fast. - unless the companies doing it are exempt, and as such, cant be sued over the practice. That is what occurred in the US. The corporates, and inventers of the practice got all their duckies in a row first, then did the deeds. The very department meant to investigate have not, will not and could not, as they had no mandate to. And now their department is shrinking, and funding drying up. It has worked in the US, so look for the same 'template' to be used elsewhere. In very low populated areas, off the radar, I guess they just move in and do their thing regardless. |
