I think more research is in order to answer those questions. But, I thought water remembers, surely anything else would get diluted???

However, ran into a nutritionist who told me not to drink spring water due to the lime content, to drink only specified "drinking water" when using it for consumption. He said the lime will build up in our organs and that's not good.

All I could think about is the very powerful chemical cleaning products I've used to remove lime from tub and tiles. And wonder how we could possibly remove build up of lime in our body's system. Scary thoughts that, kinda makes you wonder about becoming fossilized before your time.

I think it is a sort of crossing between a JELLYFISH and an OCTOPUS. The "Sack" with the honeycomb-like veins is fantastic and seems to move like on muscle contraction ... Fantastic. The ?animal? seems to navigate/propel consciously. It seems as if 'the bag' is a collecting organ which can become almost transparent so thin, and is able to expand ... I LOVE MYSTERIOUS CREATURES!

Reason for that could be the oil-(micro)particles in the water [thanx to the corexit used in the GOM] that made the first one seemed more brownish ...

All species of sea turtles are listed as threatened or endangered. The new research may provide insights that are helpful in conservation, Lohmann said.

For example, different populations of loggerheads around the world are likely to have different magnetic maps, Lohmann explained, with each map specific to a particular migratory pathway in one part of the world. If loggerheads in one geographic area go extinct, it will probably be impossible to replace them with turtles from another area, because the new arrivals will lack the inherited instructions needed to navigate within and from their transplanted homes.

In addition, conditions that impair the functioning of turtles' magnetic sense may jeopardize survival. Lohmann says that in Florida and elsewhere, a common conservation practice is to surround turtle nests on the beach with wire cages to protect the turtle eggs from raccoons. But such cages also distort the local magnetic field, and may thereby compromise the ability of hatchlings to navigate after they emerge from their nests.

As the benefits of over a decade of basic research on chalcone-isomerase are reaped, biologists look forward to opening the door for bio-engineers. Armed with the structures of the four proteins, bio-engineers will be able to adjust the plant cellular factory for fatty acid production to the advantage and benefit of agriculture as well as the fields of renewable energy, biorenewable chemicals and biomedicine.
