I wonder, if Macondo well seabed cracks further and allows for all the oil in it to escape into the Gulf, what would happen to the entire Salt Basin that covers some of Texas, LA,Mississippi and the gulf? My guess is that it would jeopardize and sink that whole entire region.

At this point many energy-plants will be out of function, and the distribution systems of oil and gas, the pipes etc, will be destroyed.... What coincidence will it be when enormous amounts of algae will be the source for energy! They don't need PIPES, the only need lakes and waters like the GOM....
The massive use of iron-enriched corexit, which feeds and boosts the algae and other organisms and bacteria, was probably a pre-planed action, as well the oilspill which made the use of this chemical legit.
It will be easy for the algae to spread to other areas which have been sprayed upon in the past 2years or more.
A cataclysm would be the transportation way...
In many ways an evil as well as a genius plan...
