Thread: What is China building?...A Portal?...Pathway to Heaven? Someone previously put a link on BEZERK to the thread about the ring statue on the coast of China.
Suggestion for its purpose: that when the waters rise and cover the top of the ring, water will rise no higher and the people will know a safe level to re-establish. A pinnacle marker would be very difficult to see from a distance. The ring will show up much better to those who are looking and have only their eyesight to gauge the water flow.

Why so? The ring is right at the coast and apparently relatively quickly built.
Was said tongue in cheek. Some believe the Great pyramid was built to withstand the great floods of old.
