Title: Entanglement of distant flux qubits

Abstract:

Entanglement of qubits, the key feature of quantum registers, is crucial for information transmission and processing.

We discuss two solid state flux qubits each interacting with a single mode electromagnetic field produced in a separate quantum cavity.

This interaction leads to an entangled state of the qubit photon pairs.

Then by performing the Bell state measurements on the electromagnetic field modes the entanglement is transferred to the qubits.

We quantify this entanglement by calculating the linear entropy.
