VAT increases in Romania to 24% !!! People will die, no doubt about it!

Mai baieti daca nici aici nu ne respectam unii pe altii fiind de aceiasi natie...nu-i de mirare ca a ajuns tara unde a ajuns...

I tell you this: the colf (dunno if that mean anything in english) that work for me had his daughter in Romania dieing for a stupid kidney infection, at the Romanian hospital after some time they said they could do nothing more and basically told my colf wich is the mother that his girl about 11 year old was doomed.

I called the hospital here one of these specialized on childrens, they told me what documents I needed so she could be transferred in italy and treated here.

I told his mother all she needed to do she went there and got his daughter and tranferred here , now she is under dialisis 3 time a week, and shes getting better.

In Romania she would have died, that's how bad it is for these peoples.

You know what, the EU destroyed most of us even if at different levels.

My country raised vat years ago from 19% to 20.5%(1994) and later to 21% (1996) but after reviewing last year by the state because of the increase of bankrupt companies they lowered some vat of all food products and restaurants,bars etc to 12% but this still didn't help so the companies asked for 6% because they are still in trouble. This doesn't help me as a self employed seller of electronics the VAT of these goods still remain 21% :-( Sorry for Greece having EU probs but do not fear the rest will follow crisis is growing.

Maybe it's time for everyone to move to places where they can live off the land where you don't have to worry about heating and you can grow. Your own tomatoes and cucumbers. Instead of the children moving away and sending money home, bring the parents with. Grandparents can h elp raise children so y ou don't have to pay for day care. Instead of fighting a situation. You can't control or change just leave. I know it's not that easy... But what else can you do. It will end up being the case that leaving will be easier than staying.

You are right, here in the UK they announced VAT is going up to 20% while they raise taxes, lower wages for public workers, cut their pensions while making them pay more into it and as well as that firing many public workers.

And their budget also assumes that they'll be less unemployed people because somehow more jobs will be generated and they'll be a growth in the economy.

I sincerely doubt anyone in my country actually believes that the so called revolution in 89 was legitimate. It was a political coup, nothing more nothing less. The people did not 'rise up' against the government at all, certainly not in the way the rest of the world has been led to believe.

At the time, the news, as it always does, focused in on small scuffles and people chanting and, using scripted, hyped up reporting made it look like the people were instigating the violence but it was a small group of the military firing into the air in the square that started a panic and everyone tried to duck for cover. What you have seen in the news clips is not an angry crowd, it is a fearful one.

We have to remember that by 89, Ceausescu had paid all of Romania's relatively small debts and was looking to China for his next moves to make Romania function as well in the communist template. Romania, at that time, was a wealthy, nation - under tyrannical rule, sure, I am not contesting that but it was independent and had all the resources it needed to stay independent. The nostalgic Romanians who lived in that time will tell you that, despite the fact we were eating bread while Ceausescu dined on steak, we all had jobs and our amenities were affordable.
Ceausescu refused to join the central banking system on several occasions when approached by the economic hitmen and by 89 he had dismissed their advances one time too often. The bankers colluded with Ceausescu's underlings to undermine his position and instigated the contrived revolution in order to bring about acceptance of their agenda. As we know, Ceausescu was swiftly executed within hours of his capture. God forbid we give him an opportunity to reveal the fraud being perpetrated.

Today, as a consequence, our slide into subservience to the criminal private banking cartel that is the IMF is now complete.

Anyone who tells you otherwise is fooling themselves. We have never genuinely revolted. We could take a few lessons from the french in this aspect, I could be mistaken but it would appear they are not afraid to stand up and call their government to account.

As for the theater that was the recent Union protests against the pension cuts, they were impotent and controlled. ALL Union members will be told when and how they can protest.

The VAT increase was exactly what they wanted in the first instance but they knew if they did that without a feint to the left first, the Romanian people might just stop watching Dansez pentru tine and storm the Palace. So, they feign an attack on our pensions, which immediately affects a small but significant sector of our society, the aged; a sector that would generate just enough empathy to warrant a squeal of indignation. Of course, it is against our constitution to do so and they knew that. New, sympathetic judges were appointed to overturn the pension decision, much to the joy of the people. We have been saved by our Judges, fuerte bine. So, as a 'compromise', we have the VAT increase, which affects EVERYONE IMMEDIATELY, as of the first of July.

Go back to bed Romania, your government is in control. Here is a new season of State de România, shut up and do as you are told.

These so-called world leaders are only there, under the prodding from a very sharp stick up their ass. The International bankers have got the stick up their rear ends real good and they are not about to abandon their position anytime soon.

All other discussions, pledges, hedges, agreements, etc are pure B.S. for public consumption.
