I was trying to reply to a thread about the oil spill and for some reason did so in rhyme. The idea for this thread came to me and here it is.

WE CAN CREATE AN EPIC POEM FOR POSTERITY

I am sure there are many out there who have more inside about this terrible disaster than me and I am sure I have much more to say about this and the MANY aspects of the fallout this catastrophe has caused.

They kill our oceans
they poison our seas,
stinking sludge, covert disease,
The fish and birds smother in oil
the beautiful beaches begin to spoil,
The stench of death not far away
for after death, then comes decay,
As the children still attempt to play.
