Are gay pride parades, gay pride parades or pornographic freedom parades?

did you see the picture with the guy in the s&m costume and walking on all fours? what does that have to do with being gay?
what does being half naked have to do with being gay (like almost every single picture was full of it)?

the point isn't that they have a day or even a month, it's that they (for the most part) don't have any sexual morals. and whatever, you can argue that I can't define morals, but if you do I'll be calling you a retard.

The Media do in fact focus on the most outlandish floats and paraders, passing up on the 'normal' looking folk.

Big Cities like San Francisco, New York, LA when they throw such a parade is will be pretty out there. you go to Pride Day in more rural areas and it is toned down a lot.

So you have two factors at play here, the Big City draws the bigger more advanced crowds and the Media does its best to paint a wrong picture, even after all of these years.

The reality is that Carnival/Mardi-gras is just as sexy if not more so. Indeed most of the stuff you find in the Gay Parade has its roots in this other celebration.

Beads are one of them. Flashing body parts is another. The following party debauchery exists as well. But Mardi Gras does it bigger, longer and attracts far far many more people than Gay Parade.
