For a while there it was pretty scary until the oil gravitated towards the garbage dumps circulating in moon-sized gyres all over the world's ocean. The complete breakdown by an oil on garbage reaction produced untold amounts of food for fish.

What went unseen during this cleansing process however, was the quiet squirreling away, into hidden cell structures inside the vast oil plumes, of all sorts of items of likely interest to the not quite yet reincarnated Robot Sea Monster.

Just a FYI on the game.

The original set of cards came out in 1982, revised in 1983 and again in 1987 with the deluxe game edition. It was again revised with the Y2K & Bavarian Fire Drill cards.

The cards you see posted on the net (INWO) are derived from the original game with numerous additions (to bring the game into more recent times).

The general consensus among the people I know who play the original game believe it's heavily influenced by The Illuminatus! Trilogy by Robert Anton Wilson with some H.P Lovecraft/Philip K Dick themes thrown in for good measure.

It's clear that some of the cards are prophetic.
