This is the time of each individual recognizing their own identity as an expression of the essential Divine and the same for all others. This is a time of personal responsibility and personal authority, of becoming aware of oneself as the choice maker of our experience. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 788508Jupiter The largest planet in our solar system begins the year hidden in the Sun’s glare. It will emerge in the morning sky by late March, when it will shine as a bright beacon low in the east shortly before sunrise. As the year progresses, Jupiter will rise earlier and grow brighter, eventually moving into the evening sky. Its best appearance comes in September, when it lines up opposite the Sun in our sky. It will shine at its brightest for the year and remain visible all night. [link to stardate.org] |

Same time every single night tho, same position all the time. VERY bright, although I can't say whether or not it's gotten bigger. It's not a planet, that's for sure. I have been watching the sky for 15 years, and this is "new". And I also don't believe it's "planet x" because, well, the "zeta's" are stupid. |
JimmyK User ID: 864173 United States 06/30/2010 10:08 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Greetings, I have to assume your location which I can fine tune for you if you give more details. At 1:00, Jupiter will be at roughly 9 degrees not quite due East and rising. At the same time off to your right you will see The Moon at just about 19 degrees. The one you are asking about is Jupiter. Stellarium is a free download and will be helpful. Regards JimmyK |

Funny thing... it IS indeed Jupiter, so you must not have been paying attention. Look at it in a telescope and you'll see its cloud bands (although it only has one main one now) and at least four of its moons. You can even see the moons in a good pair of binoculars. They will be positioned as shown at: [link to www.skyandtelescope.com] |

Venus is EITHER visible in the evening OR the morning...never both at the same time when it is away from the sun. Think about it. If it's ABOVE the western horizon after sunset, it will be BELOW the eastern horizon at sunrise. It's Jupiter that rises in the east a bit after midnight now. |

I have noticed this bright object as well. I watched this "star" for two and a half hours and it remained at, at least, 60 degrees high in the sky coming from due east. I have no idea what this Star is, if anyone can identify this star please enlighten me. I am in North Carolina, USA. This is unusual for me to witness. The STAR was still visible at 7:20am, when the sky was light. |
