Yeah, I have to agree with you on this. It simply doesnt make sense logistically to evac people all the way across the country.

I do think evacuations will probably occur sometime in the near future, but to Cali ? No way.

Where do they plan to put everyone? The desert?
Cali is already crawling with cockroaches, many of whom are not afraid to come out even when the lights are on.

Consider that fron Norfolk VA to Brownsville TX and 75mi inland from these coastlines there are close to or more than 100,000,000 American citizens in residence. Also, this area represents some of the most valuable real estate and infrastructure in The Nation...

Consider that there is no objective reporting and no conclusive evidence of methane leakage, and no data to forecast any "deadly" effects from this situation. There is also no way to forecast how long it (whatever "it" actually is) will continue. Wells do play out. They typically play out fast if left unchecked, that is one reason for chokes and other small diameter tubulars.



Consider that America is Bankrupt, and even with a -0- national debt, we could not relocate 100,000,000 persons anywhere and provide infrastructure and other living necessities.

+The building materials do not exist and cannot be found,
+Means of transport does not exist or is hugely inadequate,
+Utility surplus does not exist,
+Food production capability does not exist to replace what will be lost,
+Water resources do not exist, so can't be developed in areas that might take huge population resettlement,
+Waste management, even simple solutions like landfills, do not exist
+Food is not presently stockpiled or available to feed these people if relocation were to occur.
+Energy losses will be huge as 40% of The Nation's refining and chemical processing is done in Texas and Louisiana near the port cities so ocean transport can occur.
+With Gulf ports shutdown, about 80% of American farm exports will cease and there are no extra or idle capacity facilities to use in place of HouTX, NOLA, and others.



If you own a vacation home, a ranch or farm, or any raw land; and have the resources to move from the Gulf Coastline area and live there without missing a beat, that is probably a Good Idea. Not many do...
