Any store that doesn't grind the meat daily, buys the pink slime version from the government; a few stores in my area have freshly ground policies. Funny thing is, the freshly ground comes from an independent chain, owned by a civic minded businessman who is being squeezed by the one big chain that owns everything; don't know the chain's name, because it keeps changing names as it gobbles up more stores. The local guy has had to close most of his stores, almost went out of business a few years ago. So, I've fed my kids slime, I've ate slime, I've served slime to my relatives, my friends, my company; I've cooked it inside the kitchen, and outside, at the summer barbeque... I Broiled it, fried it, and baked it too; it was on sale , .99 cents, dining in, & drive-thru. And on special occasion, paid $6 dollars at the restaurant too! I already heard ya, avoid public hysteria, over bacteria, and cases of lysteria.... Pay attention when it just says "meat" or "head cheese" , that's mystery meat y'all, it's not just a label, it's more of a sign. We the people, politely decline, the pink slime, we paid our dime... The USDA is yours, not "yours, ours, or mine"; Don't you dare, feed it back to the swine! Feels like Peanut Butter & Jelly time!!!  P.S.
