The Vatican has a "covenant" with the state in Austria. State is helping of the church for moral credentials over the society. Funny people talk all the time about the Hitler time. Religious cleansing happened with many other groups over history but only one group is still talking about this (this said I am not "Austrian" thus in do not partake in the collective shame pressed on for what an elite did).
