And peanuts to that effect.

And, training.

And as far as timeline...I'd love to hear more.

OK, remember N.? From Team Plasma?

…. young man…. spurred into following his idealism by Ghetsis, the 'behind the scenes' diabolical Team Plasma leader. Without Ghetsis' influence, N. would not have followed his convictions with anything approaching the passion that Ghetsis sees as useful as an ideological front for Team Plasma, and that had enabled N. to so intuitively communicate with Pokèmon (as well as summon Zekrom).

N.'s original plan throughout the game is to somehow convince all trainers to release their Pokèmon, an implication being that mankind would fall into chaos without Pokèmon assistance.

But the player's defeat of N. after summoning Reshiram, changes his mind…. at which point Ghetsis disparages him with his disappointments.

…. also, Ghetsis' Right eye is replaced by a red crystal.

…. seemed pretty weird to me.

Mmmm, yes, quite…. N. was merely intended to be Team Plasma's mascot.

I totally forgot about Ghetsis' Right eye being replaced by a red crystal, that is indeed interesting. I suppose when I last finished the game that in particular wouldn't have stood out to me.

I always have thought that Pokemon Black had the most interesting story line of all the games. And N is a most interesting character. The idea that a malevolent force could piggyback ride on the sincere convictions of a leader figure who is really no more then a puppet....well, it seems particularly keen.

Well, N is definitely more than a puppet.

He is repeatedly implied to be extremely intuitive when it comes to Pokèmon training & communication.

He himself says something to the effect of "All I know is Pokèmon….", and Ghetsis repeatedly comments in his disparaging that "N is a shell without a human heart" etc.

hmm

 Quoting: Vash

When N was young, he was orphaned and left in the woods; here, he was raised by Pokémon. One day, Ghetsis came, claiming to be his father, and raised him to be king of Team Plasma. According to Concordia, "N's heart is pure and innocent."

As a child, he was raised together with Pokémon and was isolated from humans. Ghetsis would only let N see Pokémon that had been hurt by humans. Based on the contents of his room in N's Castle, as a child he appeared to be interested in skateboarding, transportation (such as planes and trains), basketball, and darts. He also had many brand new toys. Pokémon have played with his toys, as his skateboard is covered in claw marks and scratches.

The Seven Sages educated him in many subjects.
In the opening of Black and White, N is clothed in special garb and is crowned by Ghetsis in the throne room of N's Castle. During the ceremony, as the other sages watch, N remembers his childhood spent with his Pokémon friends.

The kid's room was a little weird, yeah.

One of Team Plasma's hired ninjas appears to direct the player into it whilst walking down the hallway.

He says: "I walked right in and I felt nothing.

But you might get something from it."

~

Notably, to the Left of the room there is a basketball hoop, with a ball placed in the middle of the miniature court: the train set appears off the margin of the Right side. It is running, but the track is severed, so the train must reverse course as it reaches the endpoints.

The other train cars are scattered about the room; one is in the basketball hoop.

Heading towards the back-Right corner of the room, after walking between a very large, yellow half-pipe, the player encounters a dart board with a single dart, and a drawing surface overlaid upon a geometrical pattern.

…. hmm and that's all I remember. LOL. There is a Max Revive IIRC in the middle of the half-pipe.

He out spent him almost 10 to 1 in the campaign AND he was the majority leader. A majority leader has not been outed since 1899... For the tptb tards, that means that this was not supposed to happen.

The fact is there are things more powerful than money and political power, we recently saw a real world example.

I have talked to many people about the current state of our political bodies, and these people are well aware that the system is broken, there is no true difference between the political left and right, and that corporate or moneyed interests control the government.

These people just feel helpless to do a damned thing about it, and when you're ear deep in debt and struggling to get by as the middle class crumbles away - it's hard to convince people to worry about anything more then getting by.

Step one, realize your voice matters. See that career establishment politician getting voted out in convincing fashion even though he had a huge money advantage and history, plus the backing of "the man"?

A lot of nobody's went into something like that. Internet message boards where it really is an open conversation and ppl are on the fence with their ideals or at least open minded. Comment sections in articles of things you want to change. Do not underestimate how many ppl read those and how influenced they are because of them. Start there.

You will get noticed when you start making a change. You'll see the change yourself. The whole community will bend towards your ideals and you will see it in the others responses. Don't take credit, they came to that conclusion themselves, even if you did help it along. It is there victory not yours. Do not be tempted to take it from them. Selfless.

That is the most practical and real advice i can give someone who wants to help change things from their keyboard.
It is viable and does work. As you get more experienced you will be able to go "into the lions den" with no fear and make some change as well.

I'm off to dinner. The other ways will present themselves as you start to do it on your own.

Indeed, your advice is good and I do try to speak up whenever I can to spread awareness, whether by means of mouth or keyboard.

All things are connected, my friend. Society is little more then an artifice of tradition accepted by the human consciousness; a construct.

"There is no spoon" comes to mind

The archetypes at play in popular culture are relevant to current events - perhaps even inseparable from them

Correct, they can be projected on to anything. The power players learn see them in the world, the news, the headlines, the TV set. The things influencing the world.

Subcultures are training wheels. (anime, drug scene, art circles) There is a difference in the ppl that choose to see them in the streets and not just in the back alleys.

Think of it as the difference between major league and minor.

But i'm sure you knew all this already, my friend.

Shitty memes and attempts to form archetypes that do not measure up in regards to what is proper intentionality simply fail utterly to carry the quality necessary to build true strength and power.
 Quoting: VolKhrom

Well then, what example of proper intentionality and powerful memes would you give? What divides them?
 Quoting: Greybird

Do you think you understand the basics regarding comprehending differentiation of what is right and what is wrong when it comes to behavioral expressions of people for example.

What is right and wrong has a myraid of implications. It is no so easily simplified.

For example, there is the interplay what you refer to as intention - there is such thing as acting wrong for sincerely good reasons and vice versa.

Stating 'what is right/wrong in terms of behavioral expression' is a hard thing to answer. In terms of behavioral expression, there are certain obvious agreements on what is wrong - like killing. But our judgement of such things must be considered in the context of both culture and environment.

The vast, vast majority of people are not evil. They believe they are doing right, and when the effects of their behavior are clearly wrong they justify themselves with broad rationalizations - ie Obama's response to the NSA scandal as revealed by Snowden.

For me, what is right and wrong must be considered in terms of the value of human life. If we don't tighten our perspective to what is good and bad for dignified life, then ethics loses all relevance entirely.
