Aliens do show up in one guise or another. And they do offer those on earth a way to step out of our space time and into another dimension of sorts. Many will go with them willingly. This earth is getting worse and more terrifying by the day. Many will believe or talk themselves into believing this is the rapture. But the people who go with them will find that it is not what they thought it was. It isn't hell, but it's not paradise either. This particular band of aliens supposedly survives and has learned to extend their lives indefinitely by harvesting organs from other beings and modifying and transplanting them into themselves. Their entire 'quest' is to find donors which they kidnap and steal organs from. It is their only means of survival. And they can cross space and time (to some extent) to do this.

Many will be fooled into thinking this is the rapture and will go willingly into a very long, dark night. At some point the real Christ shows up for the real rapture. And the organ-stealing aliens are shown up for what they really are. But it's too late for many who've already joined their ranks.
