what's interesting about what you say is I actually did know someone who was the real "wild card" and if it wasn't for him and others like him, we would already be knee-deep in the "shit hitting fan" stage. But unlike your intel, his life was taken for what he did.

But as I say that, I do enjoy my life, so being heroic, does mean trading something of value, most profitable exchanges involve that. Having been in that scenario, I chose to obey my parents, though I knew they were fools. I am glad for doing so, though my youth was robbed as a result. I know that 'obeying your father and mother' was the right thing to do, though it did damage to me, I do not blame them, I love them, even as their ideas become less and less useful or tenable in terms of reality. Well, they believe in "Armageddon as Medicine" one might say, so when I rejected that notion, I gained much love and pity for them.

In truth, a child never outgrows their parents, just grows in terms of understanding them. In essence, I have learned that moms and dads do the best they can, and we should love them, more than any other -isms or cults or ideologies, including the ones they themselves hold dear.

Except for one tiny little thing.. I really couldn't agree with "forcing" everybody to ingest cannabis. There are a good number of perfectly peaceful and caring individuals who don't take any kind of mind altering substance, and forcing such a thing upon them would be literally terrifying. We must guard ourselves from the emergence of any form of tyranny, some of the worst things imaginable have been done in the name of the greater good.

I think weed is a great plant to help humanity as a whole "remember" the connection we share with all matter on this planet, and to re enforce the importance of emotion and empathy in our daily lives; however, one must understand how hard these concepts are to truly accept and understand. Education in these concepts would have to be gradual, not as simple as drugging everyone lol but it would probably help!
