The government (AND every other employer) has EVERY RIGHT to block access to anything they want from THEIR computers.

They an not block ALL access, so wait til you get home from your cushy government job, THEN access whatever you want.

Like the TSA people would even know it if you shoved it down their throats for a millenium!

If it's their computers, they have the right. Just like anybody else has the right to restrict or decide how their own computer is used.

Besides, all this is going to do is draw even more curious attention to these "controversial opinions" from the workers, when they go home to use their own computers.

So basically, fail for TSA...and victory for "controversial opinion.

The next time you struggle to comprehend how someone could spend their time trolling the Internet in order to defend and downplay whatever government cover-up or abuse is in the news this week, consider the fact that they may be on a government payroll.

I completely understand not allowing your workers to get online and play poker, or watch porn. However, lumping these online activities with "controversial opinions" seems like outright thought censorship. If they allow their workers to peruse cnn/fox/msm online articles, then they should allow them to read whatever news articles they choose. Basically, they should not be interfering with which information their workers are obtaining, it they are allowing them to read the news on their breaks.
