Something I have and I came to the conclusion it's all PROPAGANDA. You people don't think logically, think about it, really hard - it's IMPOSSIBLE. Yes, there are secrets out there that only certain government bodies know about but this NWO/Illuminati bullshit controlling the world is all non-sense.

I used to listen to Alex Jones, come on GLP all the time, watch documentaries here and there, it's all BULLSHIT! They do state some facts, lots of facts, but the agenda about controlling the population is retarded. Just because we have a ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT doesn't mean our freedoms will be taken away, it just means we'll be united as a species, as one, just like we're supposed to be.

Re: Why do people believe in the Illuminati and NWO when there is no evidence?
I used to think EXACTLY like you OP - not any more!

By its very nature conspiracies rely on secrecy and hiding behind false agendas - don't expect to find direct evidence!

Surprisingly however........there is netherhteless PLENTY of direct evidence!

Cecil Rhodes for one left plenty, among the half dozen or so will he left - one was for the setting up of a secret society, modeled on the Jesuits to take over the world - supposedly for Anglo Saxon civilisation (in reality for the Jesuits) - Unbelievably years later they invited Carrol Quigley (Clintons proffesor) to read their archives and document their history.

QUIGLEY SUMMARIZED
If reading one-thousand seven-hundred pages or dry history is not high on your list of
things to do, then here is a summary of Quigley’s message regarding the hidden hand behind
world events:
At the end of the 19th Century, a secret society was formed by Cecil Rhodes.
Most of his great wealth was given to extend this organization throughout the world.
It exists today and has been a major historical force since World War I.
Its original goal was to extend the British Empire and Anglo-Saxon culture
throughout the world. It soon evolved into something even bigger in scope. The goal
became world government of an international character based on the model of
collectivism ruled from behind the scenes by an oligarchy composed of those who
are loyal to the secret society.

The primary method of conquest is to infiltrate and capture control of the
power centers of society. (Power centers are those organizations and institutions that
wield influence over political action and public opinion.) Once the power centers are
controlled, the nation will follow. People believe that organizations respond to the
will of their membership, not realizing that they respond, instead, to the will of their
leadership.
The structure of the secret society is based on the classical conspiracy model
taken from Adam Weishaupt’s Illuminati. There is no reason to think that Rhodes
was a member of the Illuminati, which according to Bavarian records, was disbanded
there in 1784. However, there is no doubt that he had studied it carefully, because the
structure he chose was modeled after it. It is characterized by organizational rings
within rings.

This is the trouble with GLP - some guy asks for what direct evidence there is of a conspiracy to control the world - I have just posted a link that proves and demonstrates it beyond anyones reasonable doubt - a Georgetown University proffessor documenting such a groups history from its own archives...............and idiots continue to bleat about 'there is no such thing' - WTF!

Common sense

throughout world history you have people creating empires and claiming power and ownership over everyone. Starting wars to further their kingdoms and such. Good people have a tendency to not be happy with this sorta thing So they start doing it in secret. If someone doesn't like what you do, you dont let them know youre doing it. This is one of the first things a child learns. Simple as that

So please tell me how we could get through history without this happening

but you already know all of this anyway

All the cells in your body have a 'one body government' - and their ancestors were free living independent cells - now they are disposable units with no freedom, they are killed off the moment they have outlived their usefullness.

One world gov - is a nice sell to lots of the elite, mostly as a 'way to end all wars' - nevermind that the fuckrs who have sold it to them, started all the wars in the first place, and think nothing of genoiciding whole populations - believe me you don't want these fuckers in charge, and the NWO is nothing more than a believable agenda for lower level dupes to follow - what these fuckers really have in mind could be a whole lot different!

But maybe it is necessary.. I mean, the people who started all the wars are the same people who gave us everything we have and use today..

Every bit of it came as a result of the same people.

GRANTED, THESE PEOPLE STOLE THE IDEAS FROM THEIR CREATORS, BUT they made it... Maybe that is the way it should be.

Maybe that is why we are so strong.. because we steal that which is good and exploit it endlessly.

Okay, you have signs everywhere, but lets say you were in charge of creating the dollar bill, wouldn't you use historical artifacts to give meaning to this bill? Lets say you were making a building, wouldn't you want to put some kind of sign to make it represent something.

People want to give things meaning, it doesn't mean it has to be a conspiracy. Everytime I take on projects I tend to want to leave my mark by adding something historical or personal to it, but it doesn't mean I have an agenda to take over the world.

Presidents from all around the world have used the words "New World Order", every fucking decade I hear the words because every decade there is CHANGE, look back at history. This decade there will be a New World Order established just like there was in the 90s, it doesn't mean anything bad.

Where's the proof? All I see is people trying to make sense of things and coming up with theories, that's all. 6.8 BILLION humans on Earth, think about how hard it will be for 1% of the population to control the rest of the world, IMPOSSIBLE. It's 2010, we know here on GLP we will NOT let any bullshit happen. I have friends all around the world and they will NOT let happen what most of you doomtards want so bad.

PROPAGANDA - Who started this rumor? We should think about that instead and what was the purpose of it? If there truly was an Illuminati group with a NWO agenda it will be kept secret, no matter what, think logically.

yah! if they were real they would be advertising..like tattoos of NWO across their foreheads.
everything is fine, the gov't and corporations are benevolent and will always keep our best interest at heart.
lol.

The governments have always been hated by many and loved by plenty. I wonder if we would've made it this far without organized institutions like the governments we have created throughout history. We would've been DEAD, probably would've die because of some virus, no education, no nothing without governments.

We need to united this planet, get over yourselves and your patriotic and self-centered selves.

There is no such thing as an evil agenda by the so-called Illuminati/NWO.

The ones who love them are the ones that have swallowed the lies, which they regurgitate week in week out, the blind are the ones who love their government.

Mark 8:18

HAVING EYES, DO YOU NOT SEE? AND HAVING EARS, DO YOU NOT HEAR?

The reasoning behind the historical symbolism is giving patronage to the founders of a mass control system, and the old ones who kept the secrets of the past from the lower classes, the ones who made it possible for people to have greater power over others today. They want a segregated class system and they have refined the system to be extremely effective. They can manipulate it as well, remember 9/11? privately owned banks are working in the unison with the government as well, the crash was part of the grand plan which is still unfolding now.

As others have said in previous posts, connect the damn dots.

Ok this gets very old, very quick.

The Bavarian Illuminati was the only real "Illuminati" organization. Yes, groups have surfaced and absolved over and over again, attempting to control things, and using wealth to do so. This isn't "Illuminati" and it's not a global unification in effect.

If you want to complain that government here in U.S. or wherever each person lives has too much power, that's one thing. To insist that a group of biblical proportion is controlling the world for one of the many reasons most of you conspiracy lunatics are so ready to asset... that's just crazy talk.

Theories are good, theories help progression. Dwelling on fiction because you like the idea, or fear, or have any emotion and cannot be completely objective; that is true disinformation. There must be compromise to come to terms with truth.

Are there other forms of life in the universe? The odds say yes. Are aliens coming here? No. The compromise leads to truth. Disinfo is saying nothing at all of likeliness exists, existed, or may exist.

Are freemasons the Illuminati? Well lets see, over 6 million people are freemasons. The only problem? Freemasons range from huge business owners, to politicians, to the guy you work with. My buddy at work has been a mason since he turned 21. They don't worship the devil, and they don't rule the country as a whole.

Fact. Since you know some politicians/policemen are part of the organization, the fact that by being part of the organization you gain connections to these people, you may use that as a means of gaining a favor. Maybe getting out of a speeding ticket, getting a job, etc. Things like that. Freemasons do a lot of charity/volunteer work. They aren't top secret, they are in plain sight. If someones car has a sticker "Be one know one" they are most likely a mason. They aren't all rich and powerful, and they belong to lodges. It isn't race specific, they don't discriminate.

So, do organizations exist around the world that give people better odds than regular society? Yes. Is it NWO? Is it a one world control scheme? No...

For everyone who claims its of biblical proportion in reference to revelations... you are already treading on false evidence. The King James bible is not original scripture verbatim, as seen by the lack of the 600+ commandents in original scripture. The Quran is the most accurate depiction of the original scripture on the planet besides the real thing. Jesus didn't die so that we could continue to sin. The point of such was created for Christian form.

Old and New testament? There is only one testament. I personally don't believe. I have no problem with everyone being entitled to personal beliefs. I have a problem when people allow themselves to use their personal beliefs as factual evidence in debate. You cannot. It is literally forbidden if you want to adhere to the ethics of conversational exchange.

Just like how people quick use the masonic bible, where they speak fondly of "Lucifer" as proof they are satanic... Lucifer in Latin stands for bearer/bringer of light. Not devil. Lucifer is not synonomous with devil, not in real definition, not in biblical definition. Just because Lucifer came to be known Satan after his fall, people today try too hard to put 2 and 2 together, and come up with "5".

If you wish to base your theory/belief on religion, do not use anything but original scripture verbatim as your best evidence. If you want to claim that people who don't believe in the Illuminati are "idiots", "lazy", or whatnot, try to do a better job at providing factual uncircumstancial evidence. We demand that Science give us that level of accuracy and beyond, so it's only fair to demand the same level of accuracy from ANY claims.

Not trying to offend anyone, but I must ask this. If you are so determined such a group exists, why are you on websites known for entertaining myths/theories of all sorts. ATS does it, this site does it. IT's not a bad thing that debate is allowed, but when it comes to ATS it's a bad thing that the admin himself has no credentials. Bob Lazar has no credentials, so why would his "friend" who backs up the claims of ununpentium's stability be credible? Since scientists to date have concluded the element cannot be created stable within Earths mass, nor a place with mass withstandable by elements created on Earth in the first place, we can ascertain that given the fact that Earth formed some 6 - 8 billion years after the big bang, and from there took 6.5 billion years to become what it is now... near-same conditions would need to be met for intelligent life elsewhere. They would have their own wars, problems, and barriers to get past, and would need to have industrial revolution, etc.

To think that and planet elsewhere could accomplish world-wide stability to a point where the whole world worked together to progress technologically, is redundant. With intelligence comes free will, comes emotions, comes problems. Problems that are natural, and not bad per se, just not surpassable in complete. They would have their own Sun to worry about, their own problems with asteroid collisions, etc. They would have set-backs, and ecosystem variants, etc. They could look as weird as possible, but the simple fact would remain that the similarities would be immense.

If you have the time to search the internet, and read works by other people, I highly suggest you start to put that time into attending college. Here in the states, you have access through your academic institution to a world-wide database of studies/research across all subject-matter. All peer reviewed, the whole process, the data, where it was collected, how they came to the conclusion, and more. Dates, works cited, and more. It's a much better use of your time to first learn what's in the box, before trying to think outside it. That's what I say to everyone. I truly think curriculums world-wide need to be revamped. School should extend to year-round, and the college level 110 classes of today should be the 9th grade classes of tomorrow. People literally have too much time to put into entertaining themselves with theories, and amassing fake proof based on false data.

If I don't see a single document in the database that has definitive proof, or even provides data with which to entice the attention of doing more research beyond what has been done... it's not viable.

Define fact? Fact to me is on forensic scale. Nothing less. I'm an undergraduate at the moment, majoring in pharmaceutical chem/engineering. Feel free to jest and/or say that my lack of majoring in a "relevant" field means my thoughts on the matter are irrelevant. That's all fine and dandy, but unless you are an undergraduate in a relevant field and/or are proactive with professional research, your belief holds less substance than mine. That's the bottom line.

Might sound arrogant, but it's truthful. Too many people have enough time to spend reading conspiracy theories, yet can't put that time towards getting a real degree and going the extra mile. If you want to call everyone who doesn't believe in your fantasy an idiot, you deserve to have your lack of higher education brought to light.

My favorite answer to this I heard a couple years ago by a believer.

The very fact that there is no proof the Illuminati exists is proof that it does. After all, it would take a powerful organization to be able to erase all traces that it exists.

We're GOOD people. We ain't gonna turn up in your house asking you to join the Freemasons. You're a lunatic, if anything. Well no, excuse that comment. You're blind and deaf, for you're not seeing that the Illuminati aren't even around anymore. You are incorrect.
We're not going to control what you see and hear.
Read the bible, and you'll find proof:

"Eyes but you do not see, ears but you do not hear". The "ALL SEEING EYE" was a freemason symbol. Now people abuse it.wall

Re: Why do people believe in the Illuminati and NWO when there is no evidence?
