It's a work in progress and the base idea is fantastic. Its not a downer to make factual comments about things. Even if those factual comments are not positive. This window gardening is nothing new, its been around for over a decade . |

It could easily run off of a solar panel and battery intermittently. I have a small hydroponic garden that turns on only as needed using a moisture sensor and house water pressure. Tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, sweet peas, chives, and spinach. in warm pursuit... |

If it is a brushed pump and has to push the water several feet high , then it will usually need a few amps to operate it . Solar panels are nice, when the suns out . as I said, there are problems with this as far as its capabilitys. I dont know of many people who will survive long on lettuce and peas. Furthermore, how much food can the average person grow in a 2ftx3ft window space ? |
