Quoting: Anonymous Coward 401714I'd have to say Fatal Frame (the first one) is the best game I've ever played. It's got a storyline that keeps you playing because you HAVE to find out what happens next. It's like the ultimate ghost story, which sounds strange for a video game, but it works, and works WELL. You feel vulnerable since you have no real weapon, and the sound effects are incredibly unnerving. And it's definitely an unusual game. There's nothing else exactly like it. Silent Hill is somewhat similar (I liked it too), but Fatal Frame actually scared me several times. As in: Freaked Me Out. Do not play it in the dark. ha yea. scariest game ever. loved it! and silent hill |

Nothing faster or more challenging than QUAKE ARENA I play the fastest arena (Brimstone Abbey) on Nightmare skill level against the 7 best bots, 75 frags to win. Usually takes about 15min. For non-stop shooting ation with great selection of reticles etc, it is hard to beat for hand-eye practice. Most fun is shooting the bots out of the air and distance shots on the run... Wolfenstein Return is another favourite once get to the levels with the scoped mauser. Collectors Edition of Doom is another great. Also really liked Aces Of The Pacific on dos... That was 18yrs ago... Before that, Galaga and Berzerk... Hard to pass-by a machine that evey minut or two says, "Coin detected in pocket" (Berzerk). What is more fun than killing robots before they getcha? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 990887 United States 07/07/2010 02:55 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The original Everquest, before any expansions, was the most addictive game I've ever played. I haven't played it in 10 years, and I'm still freakin addicted to it! That being said; my top 5 1. Fallout 2 2. Final Fantasy VI 3. Final Fantasy Tactics 4. Resident Evil 4 for the Wii (my favorite console shooter) 5. Fallout 3 Fallout 2 with the Restoration Pack is one of the most fun and original games I've ever played. They mastered the sandbox concept years before GTA3. There are a thousand ways of playing the game; evil, dumb, shining white knight, hubologist, melee weapons, etc. Same goes with Fallout 3. FFVI is my favorite regular FF game. Great soundtrack, amazing bad guy in Kefka. Tactics is excellent as well, for it's gameplay, not for the story. Resident Evil 4 was the first console shooter I could effectively play. I'm so used to the WASD + mouse combo that the analog sticks for the PS and Xbox totally throw me off. |

Mass Effect isn't a game, it's an interactive dialogue simulator where you occasionally get to do something interesting. Actually, mass effect had very little dialogue compared to most rpg games. If you dont like that type of games, your loss. I guess when you go to movies you dont expect any dialogues between characters either...hmm interesting... |
