Itchy watery blisters on my fingers. Happens every year at this time. Anyone?

My son too. We discovered the nickel problem when he was stirring chili with a spoon and got a blister from the spoon. Try some home allergy tests maybe?

I get it in the spring, with too much sun exposure. Dermatologist told me it was a Native Indian sun allergy. Happens on back of neck and tops of feet too.

Sounds like what a older family member had for many years. Military MDs said it was stress, allergies, etc, but did recommend any treatment....finally went to a private dermatologist and he said dermatitis (same as another poster said). Prescriped a steroid cream, if I remember correctly, and it took care of it right away.

That thistle plant frequently causes skin irritation. It's called Urticaria (or commonly Hives). Many gardeners have accidentally touched the fine sharp hairs on it and gotten an allergic reaction. Naturally when mowing the grass and changing out the bag you can also be exposed to it.

I've had it myself and it causes blistering. They make a soap for removing plant oils like poison ivy or thistle. Burt's Bees makes one. You have to use them right away.

When the honeysuckle flowers are in bloom, a tea from that will greatly reduce allergic reactions.

It's NOT hives, herpes or shingles. Herpes are fever blisters and they are painful. These watery blisters are itchy, not painful. Hives is all over the body, not just on the fingers and shingles is painful and red. These are tiny itchy normal skin colour blisters right? I get them too. And its none of the above.

Does the humidity go up and down during the year?

you may be right. I have the same thing to a much smaller degree on the sides of my fingers on occasion. it is more bothersome than painful and it looks gross.

You are allergic to something you come into contact with at the same time every year.

Might be at work, or at home, or elsewhere.

I have personal experience with this kind of thing. Eczema on the fingers produces the most intense form of blisters in eczema.
