Crowley wrote in riddle and metaphor.
If he says to use the blood of the moon, it is menstrual blood. If he speaks of slaying a small child, he means to masturbate. Much of Crowley's magick is sexual and not openly written for the non-initiated.
Take nothing as literal. Use common sense - and STUDY before you do anything.
