Two More Storms Lined Up and Heading for Brownsville

NOTHING new in the Gulf (tropical DEPRESSION, NOT a tropical storm, max winds only 35mph) or Atlantic, OR even in the Pacific.

On behalf of those of us in the Rio Grande Valley, please STFU. Some areas had two FEET of rain from Hurricane Alex last week. WE now have coastal and flash flood warnings. The land is still SOAKED...in some areas still FLOODED. Our rivers and floodways are FULL...several International Bridges are closed. Floodwaters from Mexico are still flowing into the Rio Grande. We have 90-100% chance of heavy rain today, which is expected to continue for several days. A tropical depression IS a storm. As for ONLY 35 MPH winds they can be very bad for damaged and already flooded property. If you MUST be a heartless sob who doesn't care about us at least don't try to keep us from NEWS. I didn't photoshop Weather Underground, I copied what is

showing on they're site right now. The first storm clearly

shows rotation and is shown as making TS strength before

landfall, the second is still developing and may or may not

become tropical. Just trying to pass on information to

people in an area that is ALREADY FLOODED, but sorry I

didn't verify the data with you first.

Models are notoriously unreliable.

Let's get through this Tropical Depression #2, and then worry about what else may be brewing.
