That remminds me of the time I visited Wal-mart's restroom and there was a pile of turds ON THE FLOOR. I almost vomited.

Actually there is NO reason for men to stand when peeing.
Tiny droplets splash out even if a man doesn't miss, which most men do anyway.
When wearing shorts you can feel the micro droplets hitting your thighs/knees as you pee.
In my own home and the homes of others who I know have cleanliness standards close to mine, I SIT to pee as it is the cleanest most respectful thing to do.
Guests in my home are warned to sit to pee and if I find pee on the seat or anywhere for that matter that they will be ejected and never invited back or allowed back.

well, this has certainly been entertaining. I must point out however that my true calling is to just go piss in the back yard. Espescually if it is at night, and the only concern I have is " where is the dog? " the rest of the yard is one Giant Target.
