GULF DISASTER: Reporting what I am privvy to with regards to Gulf Coast Businesses

We are breathing in the air from airconditioning right from the gulf, the smokeing area is outside under a canopy in the elements. These lousy money grubbing a-holes do not care, nor are they taking the proper steps in warning us as to the risks associated with working on the Gulf.

Only problem I have with your message is, what does the casino management being from the UK have to do with it?
Are you saying that if the management were American they would be telling their clients all about the spill and its effect? If they were American, would they shake their heads, shed tears and shut down their casinos in protest?

I think not.

Please don't drag down all of the people in the UK into the same viper pit as people who manage casinos... shame on YOU for actually still working there if you give a damn at all.

Angel, Thanks for your first hand reporting. It's people like you that are getting the truth out to the rest of us.
I recieved a post on FB from a friend just yesterday, that she was swimming in the gulf in Biloxi and the water and sand were clean and there were plenty of fish and pelicans around. She is somone that has no reason to make up things. Wondering about your first hand take on that?Does it look "clear" to an outsider... someone just visiting for a day or two?

I swear to you, there are NO usual animal life around where I am, and I am directly on the Gulf. No usual dolphins, no pelicans, no fish, none. No one fishing like they usually do, no boat owners enjoying their boats sitting on them talking and having coctails, none of this anymore, she must be from some area not quite affected YET. Don't worry, the spill is still goin full force, that little piece of heaven will soon end. Regretably.
Tell your friend to take plenty of pictures....they will probably be some of the last nice ones she will have from here.

And i almost forgot, I would not come here to visit at all. It is getting like a ghost town. There are invisable vapors related to the spill. If you come, wear a gas mask!!!

let me ask you how you would feel about it if your homeland was being destroyed because of oil people that DO NOT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT PEOPLE'S VERY LIFE, OR THE AREA OF THE COUNTRY BEING COMPLETELY DESTROYED.

Having seen foreigners come in and they way they treat Americans, trying to bring in their own countrymen or anyone but US middle class achievers who used to fill a lot of good jobs, I am glad you spoke out just the way you did.

You're not speaking about people you don't know who are in the UK now. You're describing the people from the UK you do see, the ones who were sent to the former colonies to run an operation there and send cash back home.
