Well, I can also say 'thank you' tonight for the timely appearance of a mutual friend; I hope this day finds you well, where you are. I know that you are also caring for another friend, who can't be here just now... thank you. Life is... funny, wouldn't you have to say? I pray for relief; for all of us.

Oh, a book... that would truly be the most valuable thing that I can imagine; aside from a good sword, that is. My friend, my Flaming Sword... Semper Fidelis. We are the dreamers of dreams and the reapers of a full harvest, indeed. I cannot tell you what your friendship means to me,- but I can certainly take up a lot of time with the effort.

You know the thing about the book is this... do you know what it is that I have done with myself in this lifetime? I know I told Flaming Sword; I was an editor, of all things. You know what editors do with books? All kinds of books... sometimes nothing is sacred in the hands of an editor, eh? My favorite thing to do is revise someone else's writing... yep.

I've SEEN your book, and it could use some serious rewriting... I think I must be your man, after all. The muse may be quite busy; what I wouldn't like to change...

Do you have any further gems of alliteration that you'd like to grace me with before I get to work? I can't promise you that I'll be able to work with your suggestions, as I have so many of my own ideas to implement... You'll be pleasantly surprised, I think.
