I think your confusion is that you misunderstand the period of 2150 years. That's the amount of time it takes the pergression to move through a zodical "sign" of 30 degrees.

However an age is only 29 degrees long, because there is a 1 degree cusp between each zodical.

However even if that were the case you'd falsely be assuming the birth of Jesus to represent the beginning of the piceain age.

There is about a period of 25800 years for a great year.

split that into 360 degrees and the period of time for a degree is 70.7 years.

Multiply that with 29 degrees per age and you get a period of about 2050 years.

divide the 360 degrees by 12 signs = 2150 to hell with the CUSP bullshit. that's like saying a day is 23 hrs long and the other hour is a CUSP hour.

sure, the earth is going through a 'cusp' TRANSITION period...but the time of peace of Aquarius will not begin until about 2150 + or - 20 odd years. The gregorian calender is at least 12 yrs off.

I'm a 27yr old girl living in vegas and my beliefs are that we re entering the age of Aquarius too many weird things and signs and changes have been happening to me especially just in the past year. no, this is the start of the age of aquarius. in december of 2012 on the date of the 21st, it marks the end of many processes such as the 26,000 year precession of the equinox, and the completion of the 2,150 great year that began sometime before jesus, the 5, a 13,000 year cycle(from the last polar shift), and a 26,000,000 year cycle. 2012 is the year where many cycles, counts, and the age of pisces will end. when we entered the age of pisces, it was in a time slightly before jesus. on the 21st of december, it marks the end of the mayans long count calender 5,125 age cycle as well. it all means the end of the age, and yes it is the age of aquarius.

Astrological age is determined by where the sun rises on the spring equinox, not the winter solstice. Going by that method the age of aquarius does not start until around 2600 ad.
A lot depends on whether it is correct to divide the zodiac equally, where you place the start of the age of Pisces (I don't believe it has anything to do with jesus personally) or if you go with the heliacally rising constellation method, which appears to be the method the ancient culture that defined the zodiac used.
There's little consensus amongst astrologers concerning this matter, but a majority go with the 2600 ad date as the start of the age of aquarius.
