I'm in the NYC suburbs. I don't remember a string of 90+ days like this, with only a few exceptions, before. Every day is hot, most days are humid. Like it's trying to rain but can't. It's close to a drought here. I'd say it was a drought, then we got an inch and a half (I guess; that was the forecast, and I don't know how to find what actually fell) a couple days ago, now back to nothing.

East coast knows nothing of a drought, however, west coast of america knows it well.

West coast shouldn't call it a drought, it's a desert anyway. I used to live there and know how much water is piped into SF and LA, Phoenix too.

Not in the northwest, however It has it's days. 800 yr drought it had 2000 yrs ago.

I don't like summer much, only at the beginning. I like the Fall myself.

Fall is a great season, the colors in the trees, knowing the winter is coming, I like spring as well, when it all rebirths. Cycle of life.
