Term limits for Congress. 6 years and you're out, with no retirement package and a maximum salary of 50k per year.

Term limits for congress, close loophole on president's ability to make appointments to key positions without congressional approval and congress's ability to "deem a bill passed", every law passed by congress must apply to them as well as everyone else. No more golden retirement programs for elected politicians from federal to local levels.

As well as many other things, I would legalese and safely regulate prostitution.

I would put limits on what can be taxed. A person could not be taxed more than a dollar just for a pack of cigarettes. I would reduce the amount of foreign workers that can come over on a temporary work visas and see to it the illegal foreigners are treated like illegal foreigners. I would outlaw automatic cost of living increases for politicians. I would change the way insurance works. I would lower the minimum amount you are liable for and have limits on what auto insurance can charge because since we have a law that forces you to buy insurance there should at least be limits to what they can charge. I would change the way unemployment benefits work so you can leave any job for any reason if you have been there long enough because as it is now they treat it as if the money comes from the employee and not your sweat. It is more one sided as it is. I would limit the time unemployment benefits can be extended otherwise you just have politicians using the issue to get support and votes every time there is a downturn in the economy and a lot of people don't feel they have job security. It is not fair to the employers.

Remove all laws that recognize corporations as "individuals," get rid of the Fed, get rid of Codex Allimentarus and Patriot Acts I & II, reduce the size of ALL governments by at least 50% initially with another 50% within a year or so, "undeclare" every war currently being fought, completely eliminate income tax for anyone making less than $50K per year, then 10% max for anyone making over $50K, break up all multinationals and any legislation that makes this possible, kick the UN out of the States,....oh hell, I just realized I could be at this all day, let's use the above as a start.....1,000 more things come to mind already.....

An implementation which simply requires a referendum on any law change would be pretty close though, and could work.
