The Punisher is known for his attacks against conventional science (he claims the Earth is flat and that the sun revolves around the Earth) and his belief that Christianity should be based upon the extra-Biblical Book of Enoch. Out of respect for his ability to frustrate his opposition, I composed the following poem:

Ode To Punisher

Sung to the tune of If I Only Had a Brain (from The Wizard of Oz)

The Punisher will punish you,
Berate you and admonish you
Until you realize
What your teacher's been a teachin'
And your preacher's been a preachin'
Is nothin' but a bunch of lies.

He will chide your blind reliance
On the foolishness called science
And if you should complain
To your head he'll give a wee knock
With the Book of wise old Enoch
To restart your idled brain.

Oh I can't tell you why
He does the things he does.
But he's the best that is or ever was.
You ask me why?
I say: because!

He's brutal and relentless;
He leaves his foes defenseless;
His battles don't last long.
He's better than Glenn Beck or Hannity;
He will strip you of your sanity
If you try to prove him wrong.
