Can a gasmask filter methane? | |
Urban Predator User ID: 1019051 United States 07/19/2010 01:50 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes, but, if the Methane replaces the air (70% Nitrogen/20% Oxygen) then you will just suffocate in it (In the Methane). If the Methane explodes it will burn the mask off of your face. Methane is bad news. A Scott Air Pack may be a better choice, until it runs out of air. |

If someone lights a cigarette after all of the methane that's underneath our oceans and ground release into our troposphere, will everyone burn to death? |

I saw first hand the devastation of a meth gas explosion on an oil sands facility...two dead and a multi million dollar building destroyed. |
