---I Watched The Oscar Winner Documentary "The Cove" Today And....WOW!!!---

I knew that the dolphins were slaughtered and hunted quite violently, but i never saw shocking images of this, as i saw in this documentary!!!

This is one of many other things that are wrong with the people in this planet, where is our humanity people!!!??...perhaps we deserve as human beings payback the price of others!!

i loved the part at the end at the meeting the japs were saying they kill them humanly and quick and the guy walks in with a TV monitor strapped on his chest and walked to the front of the stage showing everyone the images that proved that the japs were lying.

You would think that a nation that has a reputation for cold hearted brutality as evidenced during the Bataan death march would be a little more careful about their public image.

And it is disingenuous for them to say this is a hundreds of years olf "tradition", as you would need a boat with an engine in order to herd the dolphin into the cove, and besides they don't even eat dolphin meat.

Lots of old traditions have been set aside, anyway. These are not just "fish", they are MAMMALS who form family bonds and show evidence of awareness, intelligence, humor, fear, and other emotions. They have a very sophisticated brain structure and are way past Charlie the Tuna on the evolutionary scale.

Do unto others, as you would have others do unto you?

As the "superior" life form on this planet, we choose to treat lesser life forms or animals like this.

Should a "superior" life form from another dimension, or place in Gods creation, choose to treat us in a likewise maner?

So WE can eat Land mammals but the Japanese must stop eating SEA mammals?

These particular sea mammals are highly intelligent and social, and form family groups that last a lifetime. We don't eat elephants (lifetime family bond), and when they are poached for their ivory there is worldwide outcry. We don't eat gorillas and other primates (lifetime family and social bond), and the bushmeat trade in Africa is widely denounced as inhumane. When being killed, they FIGHT FOR THEIR LIVES.

If you go out into the wilds and shoot a buffalo or an antelope or even a cow, the rest of the herd runs off a little ways and resumes grazing, not much concern abut their fallen comrade. Their only 'bondedness' is temporary between mother and calf, and ends after the weaning process.

These dolphins are sentient beings of high intelligence and they are being terrorized and tortured. Yes I have a problem with that.

Do you see the distinction? I don't have any problem with people killing fish to eat, but these are NOT fish.

If it's "some White shit" to disapprove of terrorizing highly aware intelligent beings, then call me White and proud of it.
