Obama has not spent all of the stimulus money. He is hordeing it for his re election and Democrat campaings.

The Republicans are trying to force Obama to spend some of it, on things to stimulate the economy including unemployment. Not Democrat election campaings.

Of course the Media won't tell you that.

CNN says it passed. Obama says he will do it again in November.

Problem is none of the Democrats are willing to cut any other spending to pay for this.

It is just going to be added to the current multi-billion dollar deficit that Obama claims he wants to cut.

Here's a thought. Take all the money from the earmark spending projects attached to all the bills the Democrats have passed in the past 19 months and use that.

The other issue that has to be dealt with is just when does unemployment compensation become an entitlement. It is now going on two years.

Unfortunately, we do have some people collecting unemployment that turn their noses up at work they consider to be beneath them. They have not gotten into the mindset of any job is better than none even if it is not what you sued to do.

Of course there are many in places where there are few, if any, jobs to be had. However, if the only job around is digging ditches, then you dig ditches. If it is picking crops or doing lawncare, then that is what you do. There are millions of illegals out there who seem to find work even in the regions with the highest unemployment. Maybe it is not great work, but it is work and some money.
